Two of my classmates went for business apprenticeship (Igba bọy) after we finished secondary school.

One is swimming in money now. He is way way rich and doing good. Without any certificate, he can employ me wey dey abroad. However, the other one had issues with his boss after 7 years. He is still struggling to survive.

Same path. Different results.

In 2017, I was involved in an accident. The motorcycle wheel crashed, but nothing happened to me. However, I know one guy that feel from a bicycle and broke his arm. The arm got complicated and was chopped off.

Similar situation. Different realities.

I was listening to Cosmas Maduka (Coscharis Motors) speaking about commitment and focus in business. I know there were hundreds of his age mates who were more focused but got nothing in life.

I fell life has no formula. The outcomes are stochastic and uncertain

I wasn’t the only one that studied hard in my university days. As a matter of fact, some guys got really sharp grades and were much more hardworking. Yet, their efforts haven’t translated into progress.

When I was serving in NYSC, I met a guy that had about 5 bitcoins. He is very very rich. A small boy, younger than me.

Life has no formula. When you get successful, do NOT think it’s all by efforts and dedication. Truly, truly, I say unto you, many people are out there… who were extremely dedicated and willing… but life said no.

Beyond efforts, prayers and creed… I think we all can agrre that the only thing we can understand in life is that we can’t understand life.

When you see people fall into troubles and issues… don’t laugh. Learn and pray. No one is immuned to misfortune. No, not one.

Over the past week, issues about cheating has been on discus. People are discussing and arguing about the best way to treat their cheating partners. Some said, to divorce, others said, to cheat back and some are of the opinion that forgiveness is the best option.

Many people have cheated on their partners unintentionally. They don't want to cheat but they fell into it unintentionally because they were careless and failed to be on the lookout.

1. Decide That You Will Not Cheat

Until you decide to do or not do something, you haven't started. Decision is the starting point of all achievements. Without decision nothing can be done. So, you must make this decision.

Even before you marry, you will have to make this decision that you are not going to cheat on your partner no matter what. Daniel in the land of Babylon purposed in his heart, he decided that he won't defile himself with the king's food. So, you too must decide not to cheat on your partner(Daniel 1:8).

2. Shut Your Eyes

After you got married or entered a relationship, you will keep seeing people more beautiful, handsome, richer, endowed and romantic than your partner and if your eyes are still open, the chances are high that you will cheat.

As a guy, shut your eyes against any other lady than your woman. As a lady, shut your eyes off every other man. King David saw a man's wife bathing and he lost all his senses. He slept with the woman and even kill the woman's husband! Close your eyes and look away(see 2 Sam 11:1-12; Job 31:1)

3. Avoid Sharing Your Problems With The Opposite S*x For Pity And Sympathy.

When I was in the village, there was this woman that was an expert in sharing her problems with the aim of securing pity and sympathy from people and as well as cash. Whenever you see her, expect one complain or another.

So, avoid sharing your problems with others especially the opposite s*x for pity or sympathy. If it's not solution you're looking for, avoid the sharing stuff. Problems have a way of bonding people. You will become emotionally entangled.

4. Avoid Too Much Play With The Opposite S*x

Cheating doesn't just happen, it starts little by little. Little play here and little play with the opposite s*x and before you know it, emotions are developing to the point it becomes uncontrollable.

Playing with the opposite s*x while you're married or have a partner that you are in a relationship with is like when a lion and a goat is playing. You know what that means. Oga, that girl that whenever you see her, chemical reaction begins to take place in your body, the early you avoid her the better, the same is applicable to you, madam. You can't walk on fire and won't get burnt!

5. Limit Communication With The Opposite S*x

Communication is the blood of relationship, without communication relationship suffers. Communication fosters intimacy and understanding in a relationship. It keeps the fire burning.

Cheating can end your marriage. It can make your partner to commit su***de. You will lose the trust, love and confidence of your partner. Does cheating really worth all these? Think about it.

8. Avoid The Company Of Those That Don't Value Fidelity.

Proverbs 13:20 says that, when you follow the wise, you'll become wise and when you will follow fools, you shall be destroyed. Who you follow determines what follows you. Who you company with determines what accompanies you.

So, avoid the company of those that are not faithful to their partners, avoid those that don't respect their marital vows and and the sacredness of marriage. It's just a matter of time before you join them. Bad company corrupts good character.

9. Value What You Have

When you don't value what you have, you will treat and abuse it. When you don't have value and respect for your partner, you will cheat on the person. What you value, you cherish, guide, protect and care for.

If you value your partner, you will cherish him or her, you will care about his or her feelings. Place a premium value on your partner.

10. Love Your Partner

Love is a strong force that can either compel you to do or not to do something. When you truly love your partner, you won't like to cheat on him or her. The love will constrain you from doing such(see 2 Corinthians 5:14-15).

How My Neighbor who Did Money R!iitual moved from Grace to Grass

This will sound unbelievable but it is true. I had a "rich" neighbour who nicknamed himself "Commissioner". He built this duplex within six months, bought six expensive cars within eight months. One of the exotic cars he drove, in fact the last one he bought was 46 million Naira as at 2015.

He was my neighbour, we shared a common fence. Hence, we could interact freely. Once he asked me how much was my salary, I told him 50k by then, he was so disappointed, saying he thought I earned up to 600k. He promised to take me to where I will make money. I smiled, and tactically applied breaks on the speed of our relationship. He told me I am too brilliant to be a poor man. I told him I was not poor but rich. Apart from bearing "rich" as a name, I told him I was rich in contentment.

He flaunted wealth and affluence but I told him in any case, it is the ambition of everyone to be rich, especially where your hand could not reach. It never mattered to me that he was a younger person to me, his fleeting wealth never caught my attention.

I was still in my supposed poverty when I started hearing stories, and the stories are still there till today. First, his wife left him, and the two children they had, he does not know where they are today.

When I was transferred to Bayelsa State, I was called one evening to come to the traffic light at Ibom Specialist Hospital in Uyo, that my neighbour was running mad. I told the people that even if I were I were a psychiatrist, my "colleagues" are also there in Uyo. Why would I be drafted from Yenagoa to come and pick a patient.

Another time I was in Uyo, and it happened again, and I went to see it with my eyes, and I wept. I saw him in a church where they took him for deliverance.

Since then, life has never been the same again for him. I used to hear about grass to grace but my neighbour's is grace to grace. If at all that was grace.

The man who owned sleek poche cars could not afford to pay a tricycle to move from one location to another. He trekked freely but out of shame was nocturnal in his movements. He sold most of the cars, while others were confiscated for alleged debt.

The house he built, he sold everything in it, and left it a carcass. He sold his water tanks, the tank stands, water pump, electric wires, bulbs, electric pole, DStv, chairs, and everything you could think of in a house or compound.

The house was just remaining the walls and the roof, and he lived there till he was sent away by hunger and trauma.

Today, to my greatest chagrin, the court came to auction the house with a mini court session in front of my neighbour's compound, sorry my former neighbour. The house which was the only thing remaining from that intimidating wealth has gone today, and my neighbour is free from the troubles of this world. As a journalist, I asked the officials questions. They told me he sold somebody's landed property and diverted her money. Since he could not refund, the lady went to court, and the court sold the house after one week's notice.

I now have a new neighbour. I have also learnt a lesson about life. Even when his name is patience, he never had it. He cruised on a wrong lane, and I think he has crashed.

I feel for him but since the house will soon be occupied by people, at least, snakes will reduce around this area. Their habit will be invaded. My former neighbour, is now a confirmed former rich man. He has crashed landed from the pinnacle of stupendous wealth (considering his age) to the abyss of shameful poverty. In less than eight years, he has seen the extremes of wealth and lack.

We should all be patient in life, and get wealthy at God's appointed time!

That's the first sign of demonic possession, any Young lady that does this is possessed. You are not a pr******te or a haw, but have placed yourself in that category and that is what you have automatically become. It will affect how you talk, how you think, how you behave and how you perceive things.

You have more to gain dressing normal than dressing like a slave. Real queens and princesses, don't dress like people seeking for attention. Royalty doesn't seek attention, coz it's attention itself. They are some ladies that will never wear a cloth without openings on them.

The truth is that, showing your naked body or breasts to the public will only make you cheap and valueless. It will never attract anybody or anything good to you..even the bad ones it will attract to you, won't keep you, they will still leave to repent and get someone decent for themselves.

You must not dress indecent to catch people's attention, and logically, it's unreasonable to dress or go out just for someone to notice you or call you. They will come for you and not you going for them.

You can still dress well and look enticing, so far you are neat, you must not look like a pr******te to entice people. If you want to dress provocatively as a woman, dress so indoors for your partner, he is the only one that deserves to see that side of you. Any woman dressing provocative, should have some shame because you have the character of a pr******te, which includes: dressing like a witch, excessively making up, just to roam about the streets....so much interested in her looks, to haunt for customers.

As a young lady, instead of focusing on how to attract men to sleep with you or distract you, why not use that opportunity to sort your life, face what is facing you, build and prepare yourself for marriage so you will attract men of value and help change lives too. No need dressing provocatively, roaming the streets and waiting for an already made man to come and pay up your bills.

You cannot create value by exposing your nakedness. What matters is what you have upstairs and what you can do.

You see these compliments: "Thank you" and "I am sorry". It solves a lot, as it prevents a lot. Be grateful and be remorseful.

Those who are addicted to telling lies, are characteristically dishonest. Most times, they tell lies for no reason, even when the truth won't hurt them. Some of these particularly set, categorically, overstate facts and love giving excuses so much. Some times it would take a professional psychologist or a seer to catch them(just like me, I Sabi catch, if you are not straight forward and you are my friend, haa, just give some time, I will expose you drastically, and ego shock you as i take know).

However, the truth is that, the easiest way to loose people's trust and friendship by extension, is by telling lies. Why tell lies? No need. If for any reason, you know you wouldn't be able to handle or say the truth, why not avoid committing that offence for which you might be caught or judged, Hence the truth is definitely a hard nut to crack( edey pepper 🌶️ for body), because every commission has to be judged to either make it an offence or a mistake(which can be understandable). People who tell lies also give a lot of excuses, filled with imaginary stories and in as much as they love overstating facts, they do carry fake news around too. While Some persons are genetic liars, others just learnt how to lie by means of perpetual dishonesty. Most times also, people who tell lies are greedy and selfish. That apart,

Other bad virtues or addictions like smoking, drinking of alcohol, laziness, desperateness, and the likes of them is nothing to boast about. Addiction is the most effective weapon of self destruction, some men and women at their down age now can relate, atleast from the hangover of their antecedent experience, it's too way dangerous. Additionally, anything anybody does more than twice or even once is no longer a mistake, it's a decision. Why? Because before you committed that offence for the second time, you must have thought about it, atleast for already having the knowledge of your first f**k up or downfall, so some times, make we no dey whine ourselves, we know wetin we dey do.

Finally, for the facts, any perpetuated bad addiction, can form an attitude which can as well become a character and consequently turn a transferrable trait , genetically to your unborn generation.

If you must be addicted, be responsibly addicted; perpetuate only good virtues.
