**Today's Topic on "Let's Discuss and Grow": Education (Going to School)**

Education, especially for the Black community, is often seen as a system designed to train individuals as modern slaves, regardless of the perspective from which it is viewed. Historically, education emerged from the need of the white colonialists to create trained slaves who could perform tasks efficiently, thereby saving time and reducing costs. Over time, this evolved, but its roots are evident in today's society.

Originally, only a few individuals received education and sought to use it to change their lives. These few brought education back as a means of achieving freedom. However, if we examine the current state of the world, are we not still training ourselves to become better slaves, albeit with certificates and suits, calling ourselves educated? Public servants, for example, often find themselves in a system where voluntary slavery is the norm. Modern slaves might be well-paid and have some rights, but these rights are not always fully respected.

Today, the average Nigerian student aspires to graduate and secure a job, with few considering the path of entrepreneurship or innovation. This mindset is orchestrated. As long as you are working under someone else and subject to their authority, you may find yourself in a position where you have to endure or compromise when faced with misbehavior from those above you. In such cases, whether as a public servant or private employee, you are still a slave.

It's crucial to shift your mindset away from the idea of working under someone forever. While it is beneficial to start your career working for others, it should not be the end goal. Spend time thinking about what to invest in, what businesses to create, and what problems to solve that can bring solutions.

Kill the mentality of lifelong employment under someone else. Strive for independence and innovation.

While out on a field marketing trip for Moniepoint POS machines, I overheard a group of young people debating whether to become full Christians or join an occult society for quick wealth. They asked for my opinion.

I responded that whether you choose Christianity or the occult, commit fully to your choice, but above all, consider your peace of mind. I explained that God provides the most peaceful, quickest, and easiest wealth with peace of mind. Unfortunately, many in this generation mistakenly believe that one cannot quickly become wealthy with God, leading them to seek alternatives with the devil. However, the devil never gives anything for free; you end up selling your soul and destiny for quick cash, which is detrimental.

If you understand the value of your soul and destiny, and the effort God put into creating you, you wouldn't waste it. It may seem like financial wealth is slow to come to Christians, but that's because God's blessings are always present. However, He won't give you wealth that could destroy you. Some money, if not handled properly, can lead to misbehavior and eventual loss. The devil, on the other hand, gives without concern for your capacity to manage it, often leading to waste and a cycle of renewal that degrades your character.

But the blessings of the Lord bring wealth without sorrow. God's blessings are designed to place you in a system that blesses and sustains you with peace of mind, without stress.
