I am grateful for another year, Happy birthday Oluwagbemisola.

Today, l remissince on the incredible journey l have had, the twist, surprises, turns, opportunities, access, platforms, favors and quality of great minds I have associated with which as contributed to my growth and advancement. Of a truth, I AM THE ONE GOD HAS SHOWN MERCY!

I entered into the the year welcoming new encounter filled with possibility and l embrace the incredible “birthing” of greatness that lies ahead.

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and l shall abide in God’s presence forever, amen!

Grateful heart!

Someone says to me, “everything is hard now” and expected me to collaborate her line of thought. I responded that “this is the best time of my life” and she was shocked and gave that you can’t be serious look (bombastic side eye🤣).

What she don’t know is that, l have made up my mind that only good things happens to me irrespective of how it seems/be.

I am living on this mindset oblivious of my environment oo, not at all , BUT from the knowledge of knowing that all things are working together for my good, and that’s on PERIOD!

I have always wanted to learn swimming for the longest time. Somehow this dream stretched till my adult age.

So, year in and year out swimming lessons appear on my yearly goals and l paid for an eight week class two years but could attend classes.

Glad to say, your girl can float and stroke now!💃💃. I had the most amazing coach!

Eight weeks basic class completed.

There really nothing impossible if you set your mind to it.

Congratulations to me👏👏💐

This week, do not downplay how unique and phenomenal you are.

Celebrate your wins.

The excitement this morning is beyond me. It is a new month! It is June!!!

Looking back from last year to now, l LOT happened in my life. Let just say, l am still recovering from the curve life throw at me. But guessed what? I am still standing and HERE, better and stronger💃💃💃💃

Welcome to June 2023 fam, the best month ever😜💯

Plan don’t always goes how we plan it to be, guessed that’s why some advise to plan for good times and not so “good” times. Plan for good time in bad time and expect good time to come from bad time.

But what l find interesting is that, there is no absolute abundance or forever scarcity and in each “times”, there’s a widow to choose Hope.

You get it? Toh, if you don’t get it forget about it or stick to what you know😊

May the new regime, bring renewed hope.

Last weekend was from one celebration to another and your girl sure do have a great time.

As an introvert - extrovert, meaning; l am good at being on my own but when o choose to “fly” l do it well😊😊 l leave the rest to your imagination as to how much fun l had.

I read somewhere of how we live our lives to proof a point to other, often times without knowing.

Like we wait for occasions to wear our “best outfits”, wait for our loved ones birthdays to say nice things to them and buy them gifts.

What happen to living each day to the MAX!

I mean, what happen to dressing up each day even while at home; not wearing that faded tees with stains on it😊 Or randomly sending your friends and love once gift and telling them how much they mean to you. How can l forget the crockery set we keep for “special guest”, or are you are saying you are not special enough to use them for yourself and family….and the “special guest” most times don’t even noticed🤷🏻‍♀️

All l am saying it, enjoy every bit of each day,because TODAY, is the future you once prayed and plan for.

Most times we forget how much God has done for us and how much the universe conspires to get us to were we are.

Sometime we forget that all we have now is what we have prayed for and places we are now, are once the place we imagined far fetched.

Oh, give thanks to God, for He is good for His mercies endureth FOREVER!

I don’t understand women who considered other woman choice of developing their leadership qualities over the sub-servant the society expect of them.

Been considering with the thought that men were taught to lead and change the world, while women have been taught to follow and confine to the home.

When l woman tries to change this narrative, even a fellow woman look for ways to remind her to not loose “focus”.

We all need to know that, what you don’t go for most often don’t come to you. When you have it, use it and make it happen for others.

That long awaited call and turns is happening!

There is the issue that many of my gender seems to not understand. You see, we need to normalize asking for consent before touching people, irrespective of gender.

If we are not very close (l can’t use the word friends and we regards one another as sisters, so let’s go with the level of closeness😊), it is wrong for you to randomly touch my hair, butt, b***s or hold me longer than necessary in the name of hug.

The ones that off me, are saloon “mates”, who touch other’s hair all in “admiring” the style. Aunty, kini color problem e?🤷🏻‍♀️ Compliment the style or look and move on!!!

Just know that it is wrong for you to touch other women that aren’t on such terms with you because you assumed being a same gender is an excuse to trespass.

Generally though, people need to learn to keep their hands to them selves and respect others more. If you most, seek permission.

The last four months taught me a lot!

The way life lessons were thrown at me one would have thought l was born yesterday. But you know what, these months are the best thus far…..l will share the many stories someday.

MAY all you hear this month be “congratulation” 🙏🏽

One of the ways l manage emotions especially when hurt, is to keep quite, process the event or circumstance, assess my involvement before having “the talk” with whoever.

This is my way of handling my feelings when upset 😔 ... It’s not because I can't vent it out when upset, but because I know how hurting words can be when said without emotional intelligence.

We need to learn to be in the right frame of mind before responding to triggers to avoid saying things that one regret...

One of the best feeling is getting a sincere compliment that is wrapped with specific….chia!

Not you look nice😏 but imagine someone saying “ l have observed your color combination, and it excite me each time. I look forward to seeing you”😄😄😄 you feel am😊.

Always compliment the specific, it serves as feed back.
