Thanks to ,I visited The Ushafa Cultural Pottery Centre over the weekend. It is located in Ushafa Community in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
It took an hour and half to get to there. Beautiful pots and unique huts welcomed us on getting there.
As a lover of art, I was amazed by the ancient craft. The process of smashing, mixing and moulding the clay into pots and other art works is something see.
I enjoyed my tour and also created these photos.
My entry for the Open Day For Gardeners Photo Competition 2022.

After Zuma Barracks exploration last Saturday, I didn't think I'd be hunting any location soon until Saturday of course; hiking, but when chatted me up asking for a tour guide, I knew my boots needed dusting. I wasn't familiar with the location before yesterday but oh well, I go anywhere.
I hit my bestie and photographer up and we packed up for the trip. With the bolt ride reading thousands of naira from being stuck in traffic, we hit off the rest of the journey with a motorcycle. For this sapa period?
It was a long journey plus we'd gone through a different route.
We sought directions from strangers as I spoke in the weirdest of Hausa language ever, as coupling expressions to describe our location posed impossible. I became angrier when the motorcyclist took us to a different location claiming that was what I said.
"Ogbeni, what I said or what you understood?" I thundered. He had been nodding affirmatively to my descriptions, making me think he understood the English language when he couldn't even say, 'come' as I realized later.
At last, we arrived the location. We could see the plane seated so beautifully in the middle of greens and rocks, from where we stood. It was a beautiful sight.
We started to climb. I hit wet grasses off my face mindlessly as I was focused on the joy pounding in my chest from the discovery.
Moving closer, we found the plane had a train and stagnant dam for company. The rust of the train casted a sweet contrast for the greens. I can't describe the skies. It was breathtaking. Aesthetism its entirety! It was my first time seeing an airplane βοΈβοΈ up close too. I know what you're thinking right now and you're right. π€£
If there's anywhere you want to visit, call me. I'll guide you. And make it fun too. I'm affordable for now.
This is Paipe, Abuja.
On this day, he complained about not knowing how to pose, people staring at him (shy guy), and how the photos would turn out.
I asked that he brought his chess board so he would have something taking his attention.
