If your bread keeps getting spoilt in few days even after using different kinds of preservatives, Come closer.
There are certain things that can influence your bread to develop mold (get spoit) faster even if you are using the best brand of preservatives.
See below what makes your bread prone to mold.👇
📌 Hygiene: When last did you thoroughly wash your mixer, what about your baking pans. It is almost getting to 6months since you washed them . Not just baking pans and mixers, any surface that come in contact with your bread have tendency to make your bread get spoilt if they are not clean.
Cleanliness is key if you don't want your bread to develop mold fast.
📌 Short Rising time: When buying ingredients for bread, buy patience too.😊😁. You need to be patient to bake bread that will have an extended shelf life. Leaving your bread to rise in a very short time will Not make the bread ferment well. Longer Fermentation increases the shelf life of bread.
📌 Packaging Time: There is external cooling and internal cooling of bread. Internal cooling is when the bread is no longer hot . External cooling is when ingredents have fully settled. Packaging your bread immediately after internal cooling will make the bread spoil faster because it still contains some moisture that can no longer evaporate.
📌 Insufficient Baking time: White Bread has tendency to develop mold faster than Brown bread. If you bake two bread with same recipe. Bake one to be white and allow the other one to stay longer in the oven and get browner. The Brown one will last an extra 2 days compared to the white one.
