MY CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO YOU:

TOPIC: GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS PROMISE.
Faithfulness of God is what we called constant and consistent character of God towards his words, God does not lie, he means what he said and does what he says, our God does not change, he's the same in all season of life, and this is exactly what Christmas story revealed to us who are believers in Christ " the faithfulness of God" two scriptures about God's promise of a virgin birth,
Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Isa 9:6 -7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Prophet Isaiah here gave a prophetic promise of the coming of Jesus by virgin birth..
Two points to Note:
(1) it's an impossible promise, how can a virgin conceive, such never happened before in Israel
(2) it took 600years after for the promise to be fulfilled in Luke chapter 1
Luk 1:30 -35 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Luk 2:6 -7 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Here we see even Mary doubted the Angel who brought the good news to her, but it didn't change anything, why? God in his foreknowledge has chosen Mary for the miracle, my brothers and sisters get this understanding..
(1) God's promise to you, or the vision, dream and expectations of your heart may look impossible, don't worry God is faithful to his words,
(2) time does not change God's plan , some time the promise of God may delay that does not mean denial, it took over 600 years for God's promise from the mouth of prophet Isaiah to come to pass,
(3) the fulfillment of the promised virgin birth through Mary revealed to us the consistent faithfulness of God to his promise,

Lesson to you:

(1) don't change your mind, that promise of God to you is coming
(2) don't give up on God, though it may tarry but Wait for it, it will surely come to pass
(3) don't give up on yourself or your dreams, God is for ever faithful
This is my Christmas message to you, God is faithful to his promises, you may be ending this year with so many of your dreams unachieved, relax , time and season changes but God's power and grace does not change, what he can do for you, God will do, stay peaceful in your mind and continue to trust God, he is faithful to his promises..

In this season of Christmas among the gifts you will give to people and your loved ones are the message of Jesus Christ, please be wise and smart, do not allow Jesus Christ who is the reason for Christmas to be hidden, make him known,
Remember it's your duty as a believer in Christ, to market your Lord Jesus, mostly at a time like this..

Don't let their arrogance, ignorance or excuses deter you. Satan wants to use their bad attitude to make you give up.

Luke 14:23
[23]And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗹 them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Satan will stir and provoke them to act unbecomingly against you. Be determined and stay motivated. It's the devil acting through them to send you away.

They're blind they don't know they need what you're telling them, so don't get upset. Just keep finding ways to compel them to make a decision for Christ and grow in him.

Compel them out of the damnation satan has blinded them from seeing. You're their only hope to escape hell.
Receive grace to speak to people about Jesus and get them to confess Jesus Christ..

This is my Christmas Eve message to you,
(1) the mission of Jesus is to save man from sin and the consequences of sin..
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Jesus came to save..

(2) To you and I who believe in Jesus are equally given the same assignment to reconcile men to God by preaching Jesus to them..
2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Please in this Christmas season, give Jesus one soul as you preach and led them to salvation..
Don't just tell them about Jesus, compel them to Jesus

Don't be casual about winning souls. Something is trying to steal them from you. Satan doesn't want them to listen to you.

Be persistent. Be courageous. Be determined. Don't give up on any soul, no matter what.

Luke 14:23
[23]And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and *compel* them to come in, that my house may be filled.

If we give up on them we give satan the win. Don't let him win. As you're out winning souls, he is also out winning and keeping those he won. Therefore do not be carried away from this assignment by Christmas wind, win a soul as your Christmas gift to Jesus, receive grace to speak about Jesus and to win soul to Jesus..

It's time to give your self to praying in tongues to generate power and grace to end well and for your new year, get this understanding the day you got born again all the things of God for your life and destiny are deposited in your spirit
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
" all things are become New" all the new things came into your spirit at the salvation..
2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
" hath given to us all things" meaning all the success, greatness, power, grace, wisdom and blessings are in my spirit, therefore when I pray in tongues, my spirit prays, that means my spirit and all the deposits of God that is in my spirit find expression when I speak in tongues, church the more you speak in tongues, the more the blessings of God in you find expression, to say it in a simple way, speaking in tongues is God's way of bringing out the best in us , your life becomes better as you spend more time speaking in tongues, the best of you that God has ordained show up the more you prays in tongues,
Isa 28:11-12 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
To whom he said, This [is] the rest [wherewith] ye may cause the weary to rest; and this [is] the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Here we see that God ordained rest and refreshing for the weary through speaking in tongues, it's time to pray in tongues, it's a supernatural means of God for delivering all things of God deposited in your spirit, success and blessings are loaded up in your spirit, so get it out by praying in tongues, this is your day for glorious manifestation, express it by speaking in tongues, don't stop praying in tongues, pray in tongues now...

I want to address those who are entertaining fear of saying the wrong words, since you don't know what you are saying in tongues, you can speak in tongues and pray wrong words to God, because you are speaking by the spirit of God,
1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Tongues are words spoken by the holy spirit and in the spirit, it doesn't curse Jesus, meaning it does not blaspheme Jesus or God in prayer, be at peace and enjoy your flow of the spirit in praying in tongues, it's a partway to cheap answers in prayers..
Act 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.......
This was the event that took place in Cornelius house in the day peter and his colleagues want to preach Christ to them, while peter was still preaching, the bible says, the holy spirit came upon them and they began to speak in tongues and one of the things they heard them talking by the gift of interpretation was " praying and magnifying God" meaning they were praising God, of course for the gift of salvation that was given to them.
Engage the holy spirit in prayer today by speaking in tongues, he's your helper in the school of prayer..
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Helps your inadequacy in prayer,
Time to pray in tongues for effective communication in prayers to God, pray in tongues, it's a supernatural means of prayer and praises...

The teaching of tongues at this point in time is to help you give yourself to prayers, it's time to pray, refuse a carry over to 2024 and ensure you ended well this year..

What is speaking in tongues?
We have considered two definition.. today let us look at the third definition:
Speaking in tongues is to speak mysteries..
1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
To speak in tongues is to speak mysteries.. meaning in praying in tongues you are speaking divine secrets of your heart to God, it's a means of private talk with your father in heaven, " he speaks not to man but to God" when you speak in tongues, you are not talking to man therefore no man understands you but God, it's a private communication or devotion to God
1Co 14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
This means when I pray in tongues it's between I and God a third party can not understand, so speaking in tongues is speaking to God, and you can speak in tongues and pray wrongly to God because you are praying by the spirit to God
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Give yourself to prayers today and much more pray in tongues, it's the easiest way to get across to God for speedy answers in prayers,
It's time for change, time to pray for supernatural turning point by praying in tongues, give your self to prayers in the spirit. Great blessings are loaded up for you in the spirit but you must get it down to your life by engaging the spiritual means of tonguing " praying in the spirit" wake up in your heart and begin a spiritual journey of blessings by praying in tongues..

Remember tongues is our power in the place of prayer, therefore in this season of the year, it's important that we give ourselves to supernatural prayers as we journey into the New year,

What is speaking in tongues?
Yesterday we consider the first biblical definition which is speaking by the spirit,
(2) speaking in the spirit,
To speak in the spirit means our prayers are done in the spirit without the knowledge of human mine and language
1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
Notice, when does he speak in the spirit? When he speaks in tongues, so speaking in tongues is speaking in the spirit, similarly, praying in the spirit is praying in tongues, singing in the spirit is singing in tongues, let's see another verse of scripture:
1Co 14:14 For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
" my spirit prays " meaning when you pray in tongues you are praying in the spirit,
Jud 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
"Build up yourselves" another word for " making progress" on your most holy faith by praying in the holy spirit, meaning to make progress in God and with God is by praying in tongues which is to pray in the spirit, therefore the more you speak in tongues in prayers the more progress you make spiritually, I encourage you to make progress in your life by praying in tongues today, refuse stagnation, invoke the power of progress by speaking in tongues, receive grace to pray in tongues today!!

As the year is ending, you must give your self to prayers, much more praying in tongues for supernatural establishment and breakthrough in the spirit,
What is speaking in tongues?
Let the bible give us the definition:
(1) speaking by the spirit,
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Notice the words were not learn , they were divinely inspired by the holy spirit, spoken by men ( believers) the disciples were doing the speaking but utterance came from the holy spirit, speaking in tongues is a supernatural utterance by holy spirit in an unknown language to the speaker, we speak by the help of the holy spirit, therefore tongues is a prayer language by the holy spirit, you don't learn it, you speak it by the holy spirit, today receive grace to speak in tongues, it's our prayer power for edifying our self,
1Co 14:4 He that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
Apostle Paul said, prophesying brings spiritual help, grace, favour or answers to the church, but he that pray in tongues edifies him self, in other words, when you pray in tongues, you are prophesying to your self, you are doing your self a favour, empowering, building, uplifting and bringing answers of your life to your self spiritually, many believer is destroying themselves not because of what God did not do or what the devil is doing but because they refuse to give themselves to praying in tongues, today you can choose to improve, empower and do your self a favour by praying in tongues..
Pray by the holy spirit and win today, pray in tongues and have a glorious ending this year, pray in tongues and get directions in the spirit, in praying tongues are the answers you have been waiting for... therefore pray in tongues today and enjoy glorious things coming to you from the holy spirit.. hallelujah!!

Glorious ending this year is your portion, remaining days of this year shall be glorious ending for you in Christ, you are called in Christ for glorious life, but you have the responsibility before God to see the reality in your life..
3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
" I wish above all things that you prosper" meaning what it takes to prosper is already in you, but the believer must take responsibility for the manifestation.
" Even as your soul prospereth"
the word "soul" here point to your mind, therefore your spiritual mentality determine your prosperity, if you must live a life of glory in Christ, then you must be God conscious, your spiritual responsibility must be first and others second, don't treat your spiritual responsibility with levity
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Your spiritual responsibility first and others secondary, this is how to win with God, carnally mindedness is death but spiritual mindedness is life and peace ..
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
Therefore be spiritual minded for your glorious ending this year, very simple what is God's demand from you at this point in time, thanksgiving, heart of gratitude and lips of praise to God, it's not time to be stingy to God, remember he has done so much for you, therefore your spiritual responsibility is to offer to God a sacrifice of honour to him, please give to God an acceptable sacrificial offering this Sunday and reward will follow you..

Listen to king David:

Psa 50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
Psa 66:13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

The vow you are owning God is your end of the year thanksgiving offering.. pay it to God

Psa 96:8 Give unto the LORD the glory [due unto] his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
Psa 116:17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
Like David offer to God your Thanksgiving first and then your prayers will not suffer delay, this weekend offer to God your Thanksgiving and your ending this year will be glorious in Jesus name 🙏

Luk 17:12 -19 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
And they lifted up [their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw [them], he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
From our text, let me show you some few facts:
(1) they were ten lepers Jesus healed but one person came back for Thanksgiving
(2) Jesus asked him, where are other nine? Pointing to the fact that God is watching and expecting our return of Thanksgiving to him, therefore don't be too familiar with God to the point where you take God's grace and mercy for granted, do not serve God with it doesn't matter attitudes, be grateful to God for every miracle you received from Jesus, no matter how small it may be, even your life you have today be thankful to God for it
(3) Jesus told the one person that came back to appreciate, that his faith has made him whole.. meaning our Thanksgiving attitude is an act of faith, while ingratitude is unbelieve, don't serve God in unbelieve, please demonstrate your faith by your act of Thanksgiving
(4) Jesus responded to him "your faith has made you whole" which faith? Thanksgiving, meaning healing and whole are two different experience..
(A) healing is temporary for that moment
(B) to be whole is to experience total health, this man enter the next level by his grateful heart to Jesus, , please don't be like these other nine lepers, this December return to Jesus and give him thanks for the gift of life and other blessings he made happened to you, don't be an ingrate, love and appreciate Jesus, remember who you are and what you have, it's not because you are better or smarter than others, grace made it happened to you, avoid pride, grumbling , excuses and humble yourself in thanksgiving to God, it's a good thing to give thanks
Psa 92:1 [It is a] good [thing] to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
Psa 67:5 -7 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[Then] shall the earth yield her increase; [and] God, [even] our own God, shall bless us.
God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

The psalmist said, the earth will pour out harvest to us and God will bless us more and more but that is if we return to praise and thank him, therefore your glorious ending is tied to your grateful heart, so give him thanks for your wholeness 2023 may the Lord give you understanding.

Why thanksgiving day in church? Very simple it's a day set aside for cooperate acknowledgement of God's grace and goodness over his church , our father in heaven is worthy of our Thanksgiving, he has done all things well and if anything is lacking still Thank him because there's no failure in him.
1Jo 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
No darkness of failure in God, please trust God for light and life in any areas of your need..
Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Meaning we have a guaranteed light in Jesus Christ, therefore with this understanding praising God becomes our natural attitude, please thank God, it's a good thing to do, remember he is worthy of our praise
Psa 92:1 [It is a] good [thing] to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
Psa 92:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
Every January is the morning of the year that revealed to us the loving kindness of God on us, while December is the night of the year that proves God's faithfulness towards us, today when you look back from January to date all you see is God's faithfulness towards your life and destiny... what do we offer to God in returns nothing than thanksgiving, heart of gratitude and praises to him

Listen to king David in:
Psa 103:1-6. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

To David he itemized his standing for Thanksgiving to God, to you this morning what goodness of God do you see in your life by which you are standing to give God a quality thanksgiving service, remember God's grace of life, protection, provision and above all his gift of salvation in Christ, please thank God, he is worthy of our praise hallelujah!!

Every January is the morning of the year that revealed to us the loving kindness of God on us, while December is the night of the year that proves God's faithfulness towards us, today when you look back from January to date all you see is God's faithfulness towards your life and destiny... what do we offer to God in returns nothing than thanksgiving, heart of gratitude and praises to him

Listen to king David in:
Psa 103:1-6. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

To David he itemized his standing for Thanksgiving to God, to you this morning what goodness of God do you see in your life by which you are standing to give God a quality thanksgiving service, remember God's grace of life, protection, provision and above all his gift of salvation in Christ, please thank God, he is worthy of our praise hallelujah!!
