Nigerians Can Expect Renewed Hope Under Tinubu's Presidency, Says APC Chieftain

Chief Uzuegbuna Okagbue, an influential member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Anambra state, expressed confidence that the new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will bring renewed hope to Nigeria and its citizens.

In a conversation with Legit.ng, Okagbue, emphasized that Tinubu possesses the necessary qualities to address the challenges of insecurity and economic downturn currently facing the nation.

Okagbue praised Tinubu's leadership qualities, stating, "I want to congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his swearing-in as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Bola Tinubu has both the willingness and anything else it takes to be a good president to all Nigerians.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a quality leader. He will transfer his vision into real-life experience for Nigerians from all parts of Nigeria. What I am saying is not rocket science. Any leader who has an uncommon ability to pick the right quality of individuals - who can execute his vision, will always succeed.

This is what Tinubu has done with consistency, and at this point, it is clear that he will, in his tradition, gather the best to deliver on his promise of renewed hope."

Highlighting the pressing issues of insecurity and economic downturn, Okagbue underscored the need for a visionary and focused leader like Tinubu to address these challenges head-on.

He acknowledged that insecurity and economic hardships have led to widespread suffering among Nigerians, forcing many to become dependent on others for their livelihoods.

However, Okagbue expressed optimism that Tinubu's presidency will bring about positive change and improve the lives of Nigerians.

"Insecurity is a national crisis, just like economic downturn, both of which have continued to significantly threaten Nigeria’s present and the future - leaving a large population on the borders of misery and dejection. Insecurity has driven thousands away from their homes, turning them into dependents as well. Economic misfortunes have turned many from active providers to dependents. But there is hardly any doubt that President Tinubu is coming in at a time the stake has never been higher," said Okagbue.

“We must fight corruption, poverty, inconsistencies in policies and many other problems confronting us, but don’t pity me, I asked for the job, I campaigned for it, no excuses, I will live up to the bill to deliver. I promise you,” he said. https://snip.ng/rooao

“In the Nigeria I shall have the honour and privilege to lead from May 29, workers will have more than a minimum wage. You will have a living wage to have a decent life and provide for your families,” President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Workers Day.

In other words, President-Elect has said that when he becomes the president of Nigeria on May 29th, he will make sure that workers get paid more than just the minimum wage they're required to be paid. They will get a higher wage so they can
live a good life and support their families.
