2022 WAi AFRI-CREATIVITY AND ENTERTAINMENT (ACE) AWARDS TESTIMONIES:

The National EXCO and the entire members of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), have rejoiced with the National President of the Association, Camillus Ukah, for being conferred with the Literary Icon of the Year 2022 award by the Management of Wake Up Africa Initiative.



The award according to ANA General Secretary, Maik Ortserga is a testimony of Camillus Ukah’s giant strides and good leadership style since his assumption of office as the 11th President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA).



Umar Yogiza, ANA National PRO (North) who was elated by the award said Camillus Ukah’s choice by the Wake Up Africa Initiative could not have come at a better time as President of ANA has shown that the entire ANA Members made the right choice during the 2020 ANA Emergency meeting/Election by electing him to be their President.



In the same vein, ANA National PRO (South), Isaiah Ebhodage said “Camillus Ukah’s footprints and achievements are everywhere in ANA for members to see, indeed, we are lucky to have him as our President at this time.”



Also, ANA Oyo Chairman, Taslim Abiola Layonu said the award is a token in return of the goodness Camillus Ukah’s leadership has given to ANA.



ANA National EXCO finally assured Camillus Ukah of their continued support in his quest to achieve the Greater vision of taking ANA to a greater height.

WAi is pleased to announce her maiden edition of her Enter-creative anthology of art and culture, with the theme:

*THE TRANSITION*

Our editors are looking for works that tell more about "transition." You're free to explore any of the following genres: Fine artistry (paintings and it's abstract), poems, flash fictions, short stories, African cultural histories and pictures, inventions(and it's abstracts) realistic writings on leadership from the African view/standpoint etc.
