NOA NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETING
*Good morning our NOA MEMBERS NATIONWIDE*!
It is an understatement to keep saying without money you cannot effectively run an organisation .
To be candid , those you elected to steer the affairs of the association may as well be seen as CRIPPLED without funds to run the system.
This is yet another opportunity to showcase our corporate potentials and pragmatic demonstration of our passion for NOA
At the last NEC Meeting of NOA NATIONAL, it was unambiguously identified, and unequivocally resolved that lack of funds to run the organisation emanated mainly from poor or nil subscriptions of our ANNUAL DUES, LEVIES, CONTRIBUTIONS, OR EVEN PATRIOTIC DONATIONS TO DRIVE THE SYSTEM.
We have embarked on several advocacy visits and we have many more meetings and strategic partnerships to forge.
Our journal, JNOA is being rebranded and we have a lot of welfare obligations to meet up with, plus running the head office with full time staff.
The dividends expected will eventually come in with a bang once we vigorously pursue our Vision and Mission ✔️
**The Train, already set in motion. Kindly ensure you are counted when it matters* . 🙌

The Nigerian Optometric Association advices the general public to avoid patronizing quacks and buying eyeglasses in the market, due to several dangers, including:
Misdiagnosis: Unqualified individuals who are not professionals may not accurately assess your eye health, leading to misdiagnosis of eye conditions and improper treatment.
Ineffective Eyeglasses: Eyeglasses obtained from unregulated sources may not be properly prescribed, leading to ineffective vision correction and potential harm to your eyes.
Incorrect Prescriptions: Using the wrong prescription eyeglasses can strain your eyes, worsen your vision, or lead to discomfort and headaches.
Lack of Follow-up Care: Optometrists provide comprehensive eye care, including follow-up appointments to monitor your eye health. Quacks may not offer this essential service.
Unsanitary Practices: Non-professional providers may not adhere to proper hygiene and safety standards, putting your eyes at risk of infections.
Delayed Diagnosis of Serious Conditions: Relying on unqualified individuals may delay the detection of serious eye conditions, such as glaucoma or cataracts, which could have severe consequences if left untreated.
Risk of Complications: Inadequate eye care can lead to complications and irreversible damage to your vision.
To ensure your eye health and well-being, it's advisable to consult a licensed optometrist for all your eye care needs.
