Join us on Sunday at Olokori Ratibi mosque, Aba iyamedi via Ilawe road, Ado Ekiti hosted by shaykh Al-Waktu as we dissect the topic “ZAKATUL FITR” and the philosophy behind it after which we’ll proceed to MARYLAND RATIBI MOSQUE, MARYLAND, ABE KOKO, OMISANJANA ADO EKITI for our laylatul qadr under the spiritual leadership of Shaykh Akewukanwo Al-Adaby Wazeerul Adabiyeeen, Ekiti State by 10pm

Likewise, we’ll proceed to Khalifa Qadriyyah Ekiti State Laylatul Qadr programme at Abekoko Ado Ekiti on Monday by 10pm.

May Allah be our help and guide, don’t afford to miss any of the programmes.

Yesterday, I was at Are Ekiti on the invitation of Ifelodun Muslim Community to dissect the topic “an ideal Muslim wife”
Today, I honoured the invitation of Shonibare Mosque jamaah, Iworoko Ekiti to do justice to the topic “importance and significance of laylatul qadr”
Alhamdulillah.
While appreciating our wives for job well done this Ramadan, it is expected that sincere and absolute respect and adherence be given to their husband even after and before Ramadan.
Grabbing the opportunity and blessing in this last ten days is important and should not be undermined, hence the need for total and absolute ibadah.
May Allah help us, pardon our sins and grant us mercy.
Allahumma innaka l-afuwwu tuhibul afwa fa’fu anna!

Alhamdulillah!

Alhamdulillah rabbil alameen,
Following the declaration of our highest Islamic authority in Nigeria, the sultan of sokoto and the reiteration of the President General League of Imams and Alfas Southern Nigeria that Monday 11th March become the first day of Ramadan upon the sighting of moon 🌙, it is thus enjoined upon all Muslim faithfuls to begin Ramadan as authorised.
Cosequent upon the above, I wish all Muslim faithfuls across the globe and most especially the entire jamaah of Odo Muslim Community Ramadan Mubarak.
Let’s use this period to reflect on our misdeeds, seek total repentance and forgiveness of Allah and pray for sanity across all endeavours of Nigeria and our lives.
May Allah continue to be our guide, protection, provider and mercy.

Ekiti state and its security condition:
In his last Meet your Governor programme, the Ekiti State Governor BAO had explained some of the hindrances encountered in putting some security measures in place, the one that caught my interest is this of Amotekun carrying some specified arms which wasn’t approved by the past federal government administration.
The Governor said unquoted that only the locals can understand the terrain and secure their areas better.
In the above regard, it is therefore important that the southwest governors increase their proactiveness in ensuring that Amotekun are appropriately equipped to discharge their duties effectively. May Late Governor Akeredolu rest in peace… he remained a great warrior in this Amotekun struggle!
The vigilantes local hunters should be mobilised as necessary as well. The Fulani herdsmen shouldn’t be seen as small god, let them be registered and their leaders sign undertaking that they’ll fish out evil perpetrators among themselves and contribute to securing the lives and properties of Ekiti people, if this had been done, the president of miyyeti Allah in the state ought to have been arrested by now… while i am not saying they’re the perpetrators, it can not be shortchanged that majority of Ekiti people, literate or otherwise are suspecting them as culprits in the recent attacks in the state, perhaps, if a suspected criminal is mandated to prove his innocence, he may be able fish out the real culprits in no time if truly guilty.
Ekiti is one of the safest state in southwest security-wise, however the recents attacks so far is a wake up call to everyone either the Government at state, federal, executive or legislative level as well as our traditional rulers and leaders, we shouldn’t allow religion to blindfold us and divert us from our non-idolatry systems/customs, where’s the Ayeta, Okigbe, oogun Ole, Ase, ifunra, etc that our fathers of ages were using to protect their territories? These things are different from idol worshipping… security is not a government thing alone, some of these evil doers and their accomplices who usually give them information, help them to exchange and save money received, hide them, etc are our own people… all of them will not know peace! They live with us, even we have some bad eggs among our security outfits who fetches weapons for them, must you all wait till your immediate family members become victims before you repent?
Let me condole with the people of Esun Ekiti and Imojo Ekiti and as well pray that may God retrieve safe and sound for us the kidnapped school children at Emure LG and a Bouesti student recently kidnapped along Ikere-Igbara Odo road.

Mortals are creatures whose countdown begins from the day of their existence, it is however sardonic that mortals forget and act as if their immortality is guaranteed.
Life offers two options to immortality though but majority misconceived and abuse these opportunities.
The first is ‘next’, life offers us the next minute, next hour, next day, next year, etc as opportunity to impact in lives and impart on minds; invent a legacy which will live after you leave and will be remembered after you have been forgotten. Legacy is immortal.
The second chance life offers us is ‘the past’. How have you spent your past, what indelible record have you set for yourself, what became of the previous holders of that stool you’re sitting on? Dear Governor, King, Chief, Imam, Pastor, Commisioner, Permanent Secretary, Honourable, Director, Chairman, Parents, etc… look into how you’re treating your subordinates and ask yourself whether you receive such ill or good treatment when you’re in their shoes and how you reacted to such situations either with glee or gloom, what will you want to be remembered as when you left because that seat is temporary, we’ll all leave either by promotion, end of tenure, demotion or death!
How will you like your subordinates treat your children if destiny repeat history?Our ability to learn from our pasts and predecessors is another chance life gave us towards achieving immortality.

Behold, nothing is permanent, no one is immortal except your legacies and lives you’ve impacted, don’t feel too important, the moment you die, you’re forgotten and a successor succeed immediately.

Where’s the power, where’s the influence, where’s the affluence, where’s the money, where’s the wealth, where are the aides and securities, where are the wife and children, where are the relatives and friends to stop the death from taking his soul, so also will nothing, material or immaterial be able to stop either your end when the time is ripe.

Such is life! Always remember that whatever that begin must surely end, no one knows when the end will be… be prepared, our days are numbered.
