Corset Master class Day1 was a Sucess 💃💃💃

Today was really loaded despite being the Day1 . The smile on everyone’s face shows how much value they got through this class .

We started the class with identification and uses of some Corsetry materials .
Grossgrain ribbon (for waist cinching and fabric stability)
Boning (to add structure)
laminated foam (foam quilting & customized cup bra)
corset busk( gives the front bodice an upright structure )
underwire casing (to cover the underwire in a corset)
bobinet ( for see through corsets) and lots more

Secondly we moved to Types of Corsets .
We have types of corsets based on Length (Overbust, Midbust,Underbust,waist clinchers)

Types of Corsets based on Era ( Edwardian , Elizabethan & Victorian)

Types of Corsets based on Silhouette( Hourglass, wasps,pipe stem )

Types of corset based on designs ( Basque, Lace, ribbon, quilting)

Lastly we drafted and cut an Overbust Victorian corset

We started with types of corsets based on length which are :
