Her legacy, documented through oral traditions and the chronicles of historians like Muhammed Bello, often blends historical facts with folklore, adding to her legendary status.

One such legend tells her taking an enemy soldier after a battle, spending the night with him, and then k!lling him the next morning to ensure he could tell no stories.
