Him💓💓💓💓

Cast away the spell
I try hard to seal up the bliss
Oozing out of the heart
If we be destined
Let time heal us together
For now I take this love 💓 to the secret moon.
Maybe we be together someday or not I hold you here with me as I count every stars after my heart beats.

It takes a beautiful heart to maintain relationship with others.
Love everyone including your haters and allow them to keep fooling themselves before people.

Fell in love with the maiden who has the inking sword.
She curdles you around
With sweet string of her rhyming words.
Cos her ink will always write about you.

Adulthood the inevited
Thou cause me weary
Cos I fear the rythm
As thee carry a weighty shoulder, responsibility and many worries
Adulthood I pray thee
Welcomes JoJo calmly
Mama never says it's a tough wall.

Poem Title: Her Pride
Written By: Amos

Life-changing hands,
The curve between thighs,

I quietly sit with metaphors,
Pulling out words,
in tones and emotions.
A scene were women
and girls,
Are monthly caught
In pounds of blood
Yet,
they’re our mothers and sisters.

I write this poem,
not of self-interest,
But to express empathy for females.
Menstruation, a monthly name
In females life cycle,
Where unwanted eggs are released
without fear.

A pain-causing natural fulfillment
Where females eyes are swimming,
in the river of tears.
A sadden pain
that can’t easily be forgotten

Don’t be shy!
Help her to maintain her pride,
With pad.
She’s your sister & mother.
She must be loved

👉You can share your story too🥰🥰

The maiden in her waiting

The young petal
In her prime
Bathed in sweetened fragrance
And beautiful decor
To be groom in the fattening room
Await her groom.

For better for worse
In sickness and health
The priestman says
Yes I do
The two souls agree
Walk down the aisle
To their beautiful world
To fix in a home.

Freedom in captivity.

As the c**k crows
Kukuruku!
I wonder what day has born
O' I heard it's the freedom still laid in captive.

Nigeria
This been the day
You let the chains loose
And emerge Victor from slavery bond
As you flush out the ancient history of pain
And old hash memories.

Happy sad day of freedom in captivity
And the slavery chain is invisibly visible
For liberation is not yet attain.

I ask? should I sober😭😭😭😥
Or be joyous
Or dance to the days of scaring night mares
Of the lekki toll gate,
TransPOORtation,
PoliTICKcians
And the wind of poverty that settle in the camp.

Should I mourn?
Or celebrate 61st
For blood is shed
Sorrowful beats is the lyrics to the IDP's
Should it be Liberation or bo***ge
As the strongest become a weakling
And the hands that have abundance
Turns the wrinkled parasite
Her lads wringle in starvation.

Arise Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬!
Attain freedom indeed
Be brave
Sweep corruption
Shattered the camps of the PoliTICKcians
And set your feet on Nile for a clean wash
Alas!
Be the giant you were.

I rest my bleeding pen
As it's await the true freedom.

The voice.

When the eyes are too heavy
We let out the tears
So the heart can be at ease.
Because only we understand the rythm of how our hearts beat.
Every tune has a message
The voice of our hearts are voiceless
Take the feelings in there
To the one who reigns on high.

18/07/2021

The Glooming.

Can I tell about
Somewhere in Africa?
Because my pen bleed again
Its gush out the ills
faced somewhere in Africa.

Oh!
It tells about
A place found in Africa
Where citizens are beset with gloom.
Where democracy is pain,
Freedom is cage
And human rights
Lies only in paper.

It bleeds
Of the ills
That reign
Somewhere in the heart of Africa
Where education has been crippled
Leaving the children of the common men
In the dark walls of the classroom
With no light of where tomorrow lies,
O' what a lethal!!

My pen aches
And shakes
As it bleed profusely
At the sight
Of the hungry masses
In a fertile Land
Whose voices are voiceless,
To the wrinkled ears
Of our economic controllers
Who honestly failed.

The town crier
Is out again
With her mighty pen
She seek for peace,
And the Nigeria
We had yesteryears ago
Shall we linger in fear?
Has harmony become our past?
We need our lost home to be restore,
Nigeria must stand!

My beautiful home

Arise!
O' arise
Nations of the world
Bow in wonder praise
To the old matter of age
Ethiopia, Liberia, Mali her horns
Uncloth herself from slavery bond
Transforming, birthday
And continuously bearing the beauty form.

Africa
My Africa home
Diversely her seeds spread
To the world's end
All covered in love's arm
That nature brings peace with no harm
Sons and daughters
Of old mother of age
Sleep
O' sleep
In the arm of mother thee.

Africa
My Africa home
So mindful I boast
Of my beautiful home
With vast deserts
And many rugged mountains.

A womb
So fertile
She bear the legends
Woke Soyinka
Christopher Okigbo
Chinua Achebe
Many to encompass.

Africa
My Africa home
Greatly I honour thee
My mother Nation
Place I would rebirth
After the dead old age is gone
Africa of great Heritage.

O' my Africa abode
Of my birth embrace
Filled with beauty insight
Mount Kilimanjaro
Lake Victoria
Kissed her on the face
A place of must be.

Nature bestowed her
With unsurpassed natural wonders
Victoria falls
Sweeps at her feet
Pyramids of Giza
Sits on her laps
Behold her black face
My birth Nation
Africa.

I am overwhelmed
By her beautiful land
With Kanga
Around her waist
And moral ethos
Oh!
My home
When slavery came
To deprive her of her phase
She kicked it on the face
And sail out victoriously
Africa
My Africa home
The symbol of great strength.

BETRAYAL

Like a gentle wave, you swayed against my sheep,
Shaken are my dreams,
Feel the need to scream,
Helpless I feel from within,

I entrust in our friendship loyalty,
I love so much the long walk with you
Around the endless breeze of the beach,
So much inside of me,
Thought found a true company,
My eyes could not see the empty love,
And shallow feeling in your heart,

You played me like a dice,
I ended up in the unlucky side,
Don't no when this pain will end where my dreams won't decend,
I was a fool to trust you, you price my trust for a worthless cost,

I gave you my loyalty in life,
BETRAYAL was your pay back,
I thought this friendship would ignite the Galaxies in heaven above,

I shouldn't have named
Every stars after you,
Because you left me
Suffering from overwhelming distress, and dislocated.

Better Than Gold.

I tell about a priceless parcel
Hearten into this!
A good name is better than Gold
The rich pass away
To the celestial city
His wealth also pass on
All he laboured for
Vanish like the harma wind.

Soul sleep
And never say hello again
Its memories lost
All melt away
In the flush of death cold hand
But a good name reigns.

A good name
Goes deep
Than our mind can ever wonder
So I say
Price thy name than Gold
Leave a golden sign on earth
With your name
Sow the seed
That's Better than Gold.

I tell about a priceless parcel

The rich pass away

Happy Born day.

The clock turns
Another year has come
It brought a new day
With a new age to gain
The sky is cover today
With the rhythm of a gracious birth.

Wonder not
Why it looks bright,
And the birds of the sky
In union
With the trees of the earth
Dance in their accustomed waves.

Diamonds are rare
Unlike the stones
Of the earth
That are found everywhere
Likewise his kind
A rare Gem.

The lips
Of Ora kinsmen
Sing praises and hymns
For a day precious like this
A son was born to thee.

happy Birthday,
Godwin Obadan
apostle of rest.

If I Come Again.

If true
A rebirth
Comes real
Tell the tears I cry
In today's world
I will tear no more
Neither will I seek
A Father's love
That is so far from me today.

If I may come again,
I will be shield
By the four eyes
Which nurture a child
Till he grows,
And strong enough
To fly on it own,
Tell the lone soul
I see today,
That when I come again,
Under the arm
Of a complete family will I blossom
Like the well watered plant,
For the embrace of a Father's hug,
My tender legs will Learn its first step.

Which way Nigeria?

Have we become poor?
Unaccustomed to a good life
The Nation
Flush in awe of emptiness
In the present of manners
On her table.

Have we be so poor?
That we plea
For a daily meal
In the hands
Of other Nations.

Has it not be
In the ancient history
That we are
Mother of Nations
Whose tender breast
Fed multitude lads.

Why now
Have we stop to move
With the train that carries
Our ancient history?
Mother Nation
Stumble in ample of agony.

Which way Nigerians?
Must we trace
To bring our home
Back in its old way .

Medication
Oh! Medication for my Nativity
A medication
For a wounded soul
Is needed by our mother Nation
To purge out the ills
Of her broken self
Thus!
I asked
Which way Mr. President?

Poem Title: 𝙰𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚌𝚊 𝙸𝚜 𝙽𝚘𝚝 𝙿𝚘𝚘𝚛
Written By: Patience 🇳🇬 & 🇱🇷Amos

𝔓𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖊

Do not ever wonder
Neither should you ponder
Why Afrique
Beset her face with Gloom
Look malnourish
For that the bruise
She got from the hands she tendered
Why she got broken
By the mouth she fed
Afrique was never like this!
Her waist she Adorned with Gold
Her wrist with diamond .

𝕬𝖒𝖔𝖘

Tasty rumors have been the name
Sang in the ears of Africans
Where dry lips have become the venue
For discussion
Africa Africa, that sweet land of liberty
That has inherited the smell of her labor
Kindly allow smile to kick away those so-called news

𝕻𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖊

So I was told
About my mother Africa
That many years ago
Before my birth was known
She fed Nations of the world
And was covered in wealth
Enclose in so much Agro produce.

𝕬𝖒𝖔𝖘

Her soil is reach as the worth of the ocean
That no can predict it𝖘 cost
Though she was geographically r***d
By European nations partition
She still maintains her beauty in the midst of her resources.

𝕻𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖊

This day
She had none
The offsprings she begot
Stripped her of the gold
She labored for
Now my Africa
Bow her head
In disgust
For she became the camp of poverty
My Africa is not poor
Save her from the lads
With kleptomaniac fingers
And the poli"TICK"cian
That set upon her head the shelter of wretchedness.

𝕬𝖒𝖔𝖘

Poverty has never been her thought
My Africa, be loved as you're
For we shall log into the future with excitement
You are love for you shall not be lost.

Helping hand.

We climb mountains
Not with ease
Likewise life too
This we often say
"Life a journey"
To which most time
Directions are unknown
Even the palmist
Can't tell
What makes the cloud dark at night
And why the cloud cries rain

But the reality is this
Giving a helping hand.
Not the luxuries of life mean
Nor the goods things therein
But we should see
And wonder
About the pauper's fate
The pains endure
The stomach starved
The weak cry of their new born
Alas!
I say
Lets help them climb
Aiming high
Tell them they can fly
When they look weak
So they can climb to the winners cycle.

02/04/2021

If only I can go back
To my tender self
Where I will worry not about the world
And the pains and hurt
Faced day in and out
If only I was never born
I would have been free
And no fear of the unknown
Would I have imagine
If only I can walk away from my darkest moment
Where sadness pull me down
And every breath reminds of the pains I need to endure .

Another one from Amos and I
Poem Title: Love and Lost
Written By: Patience 🇳🇬 & 🇱🇷 Amos

Patience 🇳🇬

My ever wishing dream remains,
That one day,
You will take me home.
Make me your own,
I will give you my whole.
Mr. Right.

Amos 🇱🇷

Will your love be given to me,
In an absent manner?
I just don’t trust it anymore,
It’s a scene of dissatisfaction.

Patience 🇳🇬

My heart tears down.
I don't know what to call this.
Could it be,
I lost after you?
Or is it true,
I found myself in you?
Hoping my dreams,
Come true with you.
Mr. Right.

Amos 🇱🇷

A dream that spitted on my face,
In the midst,
Of a smile.
Is that one still a dream?
Stop the lies,
Yours are scaring me.

Patience 🇳🇬

This love has me overwhelming,
For I see,
Not from your face,
But through the beats,
Of my heart.

Amos 🇱🇷

Pretence has eaten up your face.
Kindly take me,
To the seat of comfort.
For your love keeps paining me,
My heart is now a home,
Of discomfort.

Patience 🇳🇬

You are made for me.
Not your riches.
Have I looked upon,
My soul vows?
To love you,
Without reasons.

Amos 🇱🇷

How can this be?
When your love,
Once hugged my pocket?
You must be a scam lover.

Patience 🇳🇬

I doubt this be lost,
But a true love,
To be embraced.

Amos 🇱🇷
Hummmmmm!
You have said it again.
Your one has painted,
A fence around my heart,
With silence.

Patience 🇳🇬

No!
I say,
Eyes can't give you love.
The seek beauty and look.
Love is made,
In the inner mind.
And its beats,
To give life.

Amos 🇱🇷

Though it beats, to give life,
Yours is a disaster to my camp.
I wish your love,
Would come to wash away,
My broken heart.

Poem Title: Growing old
Written By: Patience 🇳🇬& 🇱🇷Amos

Patience 🇳🇬,

Age coming after me like rain drops
I merely remember my infancy
Little me of years ago
Streaming up to adulthood
All look to me like fallacy
But
The truth of the hidden truth is thus;
A girl must be a woman
The wrinkled age
It got me weary
And I dread my coming of that age.

Amos 🇱🇷,

Though it is a number, but an impact to Change in the length of time.
Growing up as a child in the midst of peers,
I never thought that the future would be seen as it is,
But my mama Patricia told me, It belongs to those who prepare for it.

Patience 🇳🇬,

Now at my youthful phase
The old age soon I will face
When my teeth become too weak to chew
My eyes too dim
To see far and near
My hands so weak to touch
The seed of my seed
Sitting next to me
Oh!
Someday
Boys will be men
And girls be women.

Amos 🇱🇷

Oh yes!
That's just life, it needs to be lived Accordingly to one's heart.
Death will kiss our faces, but our legacies Gonna live forever.
Though I'm afraid of growing, cause l don't To befriend the name, "Grandfather".
It's the pathway to death.

17/03/2021

Never wish to be me.

I appear strong

You think I am bathed in strength
Unknow to you
The pieces of my brokenness
Is covered by the flesh
I cried myself to sleep all night
During day its all hidden behind my smiles
If only you take a look into my eyes
The mistery behind all smiles will be revealed to you
If you could feel it
My soul always cries out
Longing for a tender care
Never wish to be me
I am hidden behind the shadow of myself.
