SAFETY TIPS ON HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE POLICEMEN AT A GLANCE.
Here are some tips to guide us in our SECURITY CONSCIOUSNESS.
This is the time we live in; we must learn to deal with it by GOD's Grace.
1. The number tag of a real policeman must be six digits, less than six, is fake.
2. Only female police officers have their numbers begin with "0", any policeman with number beginning with "0" is fake.
3. Every policeman's name tag is woven to the shirt, no more removable name tags.
4. A distinction between the normal policeman and the SPY (supernumerary) police personnel is that an SPY number must be either three or four digits with the word "SPY" boldly inscribed on their uniform shoulder. Please, at night, be vigilant, always roll up your windows in traffic, central lock your doors, be double sure they are true policemen, if they are not, be strong, and speed off. Never get frightened. Be watchful. They are everywhere; educate your family members, neighbors, and friends. GOD Almighty will continue to protect us.

*INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNITY POLICING*

Community policing is a philosophy that emphasizes the importance of collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. It seeks to establish a partnership between the police and community members to prevent crime, solve problems, and improve public safety. This approach to policing has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to build trust, enhance communication, and foster positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they protect.

Community policing emerged in the 1970s as a response to rising crime rates and growing public dissatisfaction with traditional law enforcement methods. The conventional policing model relied heavily on reactive measures such as responding to emergency calls, making arrests, and conducting investigations after crimes had occurred. However, this approach often fails to address the underlying causes of crime or engage with community members effectively.

Community policing aims to shift this paradigm by focusing on proactive strategies that involve community members in identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing preventive measures. By working with residents, businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, and other stakeholders within a community, police officers can gain valuable insights into local concerns and develop tailored approaches that address specific needs.

One key aspect of community policing is problem-solving. Instead of simply responding to incidents as they arise, officers are encouraged to identify recurring issues within their assigned areas and work collaboratively with residents to find long-term solutions. This might involve conducting surveys or holding meetings with community members to gather information about their concerns or suggestions for improvement.

Another essential element of community policing is building trust between law enforcement agencies and their communitie
