Dear Book Lovers,

How many people are ready for our first book review?

I am sorry for being the bearer of bad news.

We won't be able to have the review today due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Wetin my eyes see today, my mouth no fit talk am."

Just hang in there. Our review will still come up. Just, not today.

How was your day?

Show me a month that's more greedy.

But, you know what excites me?

We'd be having our first book review today.

Who is happy??

Now, I am confused whether to review all four books or one at a time.

No! I think I know what to do.

Get ready for me at 08:00pm.

Also, invite your friends to like and follow this page.

Don't Judge a book by its COVER...

It was my first year in school, no friends, no foes. I was just doing my thing and it was safe for you to call me a ONE MAN SOLDIER.

I enjoyed being in my own company that I don't see my self being friends with anyone in my class.

Four weeks into being a student of mass communication at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with no friends or acquaintance, I became a little frustrated but would never admit.

I started judging every single individual in my class and boy! It made my situation even worst.

I got tired of being a loner and just wanted to have someone, anyone in my corner. I didn't want people to look at me in some type of way (do to others as you'd want them to do to you).

One day, I was walking through the department when I saw a pretty lady sitting alone at the department's garden. I wanted to say hello to her but I've seen her in class a couple of times and have judged her already (base on the SAN that I am).

Her wigs are always on fleek and she is the most stylish person I've seen. Maybe a little too stylish to a fresher (some of us wey go Polytechnic no do reach).

I was covered with guilt even though she wasn't even aware of it. I bowed my head in shame and walked to the Head of Departments office to get my course form stamped.

"Hi, is the HOD around?" Fatima asked when she saw me coming out of the office.

Here's your chance to make her acquaintance Sarah. I thought to my self.

"Yeah, he's on seat." I responded with a wide smile that revealed my complete set of cute dentition.

"Are you in mass Comm.?" I asked because I saw a chance to befriend her already... But I still had my reservations about her.

Three weeks of being friends with Fatima, I still judge her on the inside while smile at/with her on the outside. We've successfully turned MACOSA GARDEN to our chilling spot. We'd go there when a lecturer isn't in class or when we're waiting for our next class.

What I discovered?
Fatima is actually cool and the complete opposite of who I thought she was. I had misjudged her and that's bad. She dresses the way she does because unlike some people she loves looking good and she's Al's of the school of taught that says "the way you're dressed, so shall you be addressed."

This brings me to say that, you don't have the right to say anything about anyone until you know the complete story as to why people do things the way they do.

Don't Judge until you know the full story.
Love and light...
Cheers to a beautiful weekend

Heyyyyyy Matt has finally replied πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ•ΊπŸΎπŸ•ΊπŸΎπŸ•ΊπŸΎπŸ•ΊπŸΎ and I'm particularly excited about his response.

Let's see what it says...
Dear Rosy,
Thank you for writing to me about your feelings... Trust me, I never did any of those to belittle you but I totally get it.
Why I go to mum all the time is because most of these times, I don't know what to do when we're facing a situation.
I'm sorry that I hurt you and I promise it won't happen again. I love you and it breaks me to see you hurt.
Love,
Matt.

It would have been a very difficult situation if Rosy had confronted her husband out of anger because he would have been tempted to reply and they'll end up having a very heated argument that would have let to more hurt... Write a love letter today and communicate those difficult feelings.

Who are you writing a letter to this week?
I hope I receive one too 😁.

Cheers

Dear Matt,
I understand that you are upset and I totally get that. I know what I did was wrong and I take full responsibility but I do not appreciate the fact you always find a way of involving your mum in every issue we seem to have.
I can understand if you're seeking her counsel but I draw the line when it has to with something we discussed together. I'm really hurting by this act and I'd really appreciate it if you don't always go to her first.
I need you to also know that I love her but we have to do this. Okay?

Love,
Rosy.

This was Rosy's letter to her husband... She was expressing her dissatisfaction on how that he always takes every matter to his mother.

It's a difficult subject for Rosy to talk about especially because it upsets her anytime she thinks about it.

She thought of ways she could communicate to Matt without going out of sort and saying the wrong things when she remembered John Gray's love letter technique in his book, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus."

We await Matt's reply but first, let's go to church and praise the one that created sleep but never sleeps.

Have a swell Sunday πŸ˜‡
