WHY I CHOSE CHRISTIANITY.

Considering that I was raised in a Christian household, it would be easy to claim that I chose to become a Christian solely for that reason.

While it has influenced me a lot, my parents never forced me to believe as they did, and it was my own choice to continue to live out the lifestyle in which I was raised. I grew up going to church and going to weekly bible studies, but as I grew older, I knew that there was more to it all. I wanted to live a life for Jesus because of all that is offered. I wanted to be apart of something bigger. I wanted to know that I would go to heaven when I died. I wanted to live with a purpose.

Nonetheless, it was my personal decision to follow Jesus Christ, and I have not regretted it since.

Christianity is all about a personal relationship with Jesus, not just about works. It is freeing to know that your worth is not based upon how many times you mess up, and you do not get into heaven simply by “being a good person,” but through Christ alone. The loving, forgiving, and genuine relationship that can be found with Jesus is why I chose to become a Christian.

As a young girl, Princess Atim Eneyo , like most Nigerians has experienced lots of tough times from struggling to make ends meet and has always struggled to make her skin look good. But her skin can be much better.

There have been few periods when life was not too tough and she wasn’t hitting the street every day, probably as a child and even during the lockdown period, she saw a rare glow to her skin, her complexion got better, her skin got less rough and dry. But now that activities and everyday hustle are getting back to normal. She finds herself back to struggling to maintain a smooth, fresh skin.

So, what cost effective and easy to follow tips and routine can be useful for such busy Nigerian persons like princess ?

Here are some adaptable tips for males and females alike.

✅Try and get enough rest
✅Bathe with warm water
✅Avoid strong soaps.
✅Use sun shades to protect yourself from the sun as much as you possibly can

I grew up in a home where the motto was “Children are to be seen, not heard.” There was little emotional expression allowed, let alone accepted. No one was there to validate or help us process emotions in a healthy way. Anger was met with anger, fear went unacknowledged, and there was plenty of shame to go around.

As a child, I hid from the emotional pain by delving into the world of books, music, and academics. As an adult, I realized I was strong enough to face it. I wasn’t a little child anymore; I didn’t have to hide. Now I was more mature and had resources I needed to finally face the pain that used to overwhelm my young brain—and begin to heal it.

The truth is, we all hide our emotions occasionally. We pretend, avoid, and deny uncomfortable emotions in an effort of self-preservation, as a defense mechanism.

Healing is a taxing process. Remember to give yourself all the care and compassion you would give to a friend doing this hard work. Offer yourself understanding, love, and care. This is hard work, and you are doing the best you can with what you’ve got.

Trapped emotions get in our way. They sabotage our efforts to create the life we want and make us miserable along the way. Freeing this emotional energy stuck in our bodies can shift our lives in a positive way. It’s healing and liberating. And you are worth it!
