The Universities where politicians and elites keep their children will never engage in this recklessness exhibited by the children of the poor in our tertiary institutions.

There is a reason why the "elite" families keep staying ahead of the "poor" families.

When you check the background of the students doing all these rubbish of spraying money and pouring wines on body in the name of signout, they are mostly from families that can hardly afford three square meals.

Those who argue that it is ok for them to do these in the name of celebrations and fún; Does it mean students who graduate from schools where they don't do this rubbish do not celebrate? Is this the only way to have fun or celebrate writing of final exams? (For those who are not spilling sef)

Na we be winch wer dey destroy ourself future. No be any uncle or aunty.

With sad mind, I wrote this when I read some posts from some demented brains about the death of the renowned islamic scholar, A knowledgeable one, A soul that spent his life on the path of God and guidance to mankind, Ustaz Abd Ganiyi Aboto. May God be please with him in his grave and hereafter!

From whom do we say they got such unislamic acts of destruction and penury?

قلت لمن أفرغ صلاته ومديحه على محمد اليومَ:


سيجعلك المديح به محبا
إذا بمحمد تلقى السلاما

وتعلو فوق ما يبنيه بان
وتظفر دون منقصة وساما

أنا لمن ابتدى شعرا مديحا
لأحمدنا أنزّله مقاما

مقاما يستحق به جديرا
وأفرغ نحوه حبي تماما

سلام لا يدانيه انقطاع
عليك أ شاعري دمت الإماما

This is an habit we can all emulate. Shun the wicked saying that was imputed into yoruba adages. It goes thus; if a fowl/hen smash destroy my medicine, I will also smash its eggs. I put it you that this is not islamically encouraged as it is against humanity preached by islam. A hen on its way seeking what to feed on or drink might burst into your uncovered food or drink, that does not open it to your strong treatment. You should either let it go or hold it back and feed it. Mind you the later is the better of the two options for it is highly rewardable.

لغز العيش!

أيا طالب الدنيا تذكر منية
تحلك دارا لست ترضى بها حتما

هو الموت لا ينفكّ يدرك مبصرا
ولا يترك الأعمى الذي جده أعمى

إذا كنت تبني الدار لا تنس مقبرا
هو الدار فيها لن ترى الزوج والأمّا

فلا تنس أن الأهل بعد جنازة
يـسدّك ترب عنهم هكذا تـمّـا

لذالك إني، ما رأيت لذيذة
فهمت بها شيئا لقد أبطن الغمّا

وإما رأيت الأمر أبدى مريرة
علمت بها حلوا سيأتي من الأسمى

كذالك لغز العيش ما دام ساعةً
يضلّ به من قد أساء له فهما

أتاني نعي الشيخ من كان مصطفى
على العلم عاش الدهرَ كالمصطفى اِسما

حشا قلبه علما وعقله فكرةً
وفي وعظه تلقاه يتّخذ المرمى

هو الشيخ لا يبدو عليه تغطرسٌ
تواضعه لا يعرف الشمس والنجما

لعمري على هذي الصفات علا بها
فنى اليومَ هذا الموت لا يخطئ السهْما

تنــبه هيا هذا البليد بـمـوته
فإنك مرهون لوقتك قد عمّا

وداعا أيا عبــدٌ أطاع إلـــهه
ستغفر عند الله بل تلتقي الرحمى

Before now, differences in thoughts and understanding are blessings to islamic community. They are now the source of our torment because of some religious fanatics that always hold their own sense of reasoning as the best.

لا تعجلن إن العلا يأتيك ما
تقف المسير فكن لسيرك واصلا

Don't be in too much hurry, inasmuch you don't stop moving; you shall surely get there

We live for purpose. To realise your purpose, focus on what you are happy doing. That's your purpose.

If you are rejected, it's never a shame on you. Prophet musa and kadr have once been rejected before you(and they later achieved greatness in the end).
