Before you turn 30, dear 'poor' child.

- It is not your responsibility to lift your parents out of poverty. It is your responsibility to make sure you don't end up like your parents or even worse!

Your parents have lived their lives and it is your time to build yours. They can only feel or enjoy the impact of your progress. By the time you realize that you are not here to correct their mistakes or to impress them, you will be less pressured, and you will be more dedicated to your process and taking the right steps one at a time.

Most of us at a very early age, we are burdened with the responsibility to impress our parents and alliavate them out of poverty. See... your background should be your motivation to do better and not a pressure to run ahead of your time and season. Remember you are only accountable for the life you live not your parents'

-Your parents' poor state is not your shame: na your parent poor no be you. Like I said earlier, you are only accountable for your decisions and choices, for your own life not your parents'.

Stop beating yourself, stop wallowing in self pity because your parents are poor... If you are not self motivated to do and be a better person, even if you were born in wealth, you would still not amount to anything great.

Poverty and wealth are personal.
You were not born poor, rather, you were born into a poor family, na your parent poor no be you.

Please, do not carry a burden that is not yours.

-The world does not celebrate family background, it celebrates people who made impact and hold tremendous value. Doesn't matter the family they come from.
Your story is only important when you are celebrating a win, if you like keep writing about poor family background without pushing yourself to do something. There is nothing glamourous about poverty. It only makes a successful story inspiring.

Remember, people don't google family backgrounds; best poor family. People google names. So work hard to earn a name for yourself.
