NUNSA UNEC Secondary school outreach and old school day.

We visited Federal government secondary school Enugu State.

We educated the young mind on menstrual hygiene practices, effect of hard drugs on the youth and what nursing profession is all about, catch them young.

It was an educating, and very interactive session, all questions and confusion was attended to, they got value.

NUNSA UNEC SYMPOSIUM

It was the best of its kind though filled with challenges at the onset.

It was one of those academic submit that I desired for,where students gather to get values and information that will help extra -murally .

It was an interactive session where we discussed leadership, personal development and others.

Thank you so much for honoring our invitation during the Nunsa Unec Health Week Symposium Dr. Chijioke Nwodoh, Barr. Arum and Sir Solomon.

Thanks you so much School of Nursing University of Nigeria Enugu Teaching Hospital for honoring our invitation for the quiz competition. These are things that promote unity and togetherness in the profession.

NUNSA UNEC HEALTH WEEK
Was for our Sports activities .
We went to stadium, played football, ludo,sack race etc.
The exercise worth it. 🔥 🔥

Our health week started on 5th June 2023.
Day 1 was our awareness, we went round the school premises to sensitise people on what our health week is all about and it was a success.

It's world Malaria day.
This is a throwback picture of anti Malaria campaign organised by the SUG vice president on 4th Feb 2023.
Together we are on this mission to eradicate Malaria disease in Nigeria.
Let's do the little we can by:
1. Avoiding mosquito bites
2. Clean the buses around you.
3. Use mosquito repellents
4.Avoid stagnant water around you.
5.Sleep under mosquito treated nets.
6.Aviod Malaria in pregnancy
7.Treat Malaria as soon as the symptoms presents.
8.Avoid staying till complications sets in before going to hospital
9. Try to screen yourself with Malaria scripts to know your status
10.Malaria can cause paralysis, cerebral dysfunction etc when it's not treated.
Stay save.

NOTICE ✍️

COMMENCEMENT OF COMPUTER AIDED OBJECTIVE STRUCTURED CLINICAL EXAMINATION (CA-OSCE) FOR ALL POST BASIC NURSING PROGRAMMES.✍️

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has concluded arrangements to commence CA-OSCE for all Post Basic Nursing Programmes with effect from May 2023 Professional examination.

2. The format for the computer aided objective structured clinical examination (CA-OSCE) is as follows:

i. It consists of six stations made up of three (3) procedures and three (3) question stations.

ii. Each question station consists of twenty (20) questions related to the preceding procedure station.

iii. Candidates are expected to complete each station in 10 Minutes.

iv. Movement of candidates during OSCE is clockwise.

3. The other aspects of the practical exams include Research and Viva which shall be graded and uploaded in the exam server before the CA-OSCE.

4. Head of institutions are expected to provide functional laptops for use during the CA-OSCE.
Details related to laptop specifications will be communicated to you in due course.

5. Please, bring the content of this circular to the attention of all concerned.
