"Accept courts' decision": Buhari tells Atiku, Obi, others in farewell speech

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged parties to the just concluded 2023 presidential election to accept the outcome of the decision of the court.

In his farewell speech to Nigerians, he said:

“Irrespective of the outcome of the various cases, I urge all parties involved to accept the decision of our courts and join hands to build a better Nigeria."

Police arrests ESUT students, SUG orders immediate release

Some students of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology were arrested on campus earlier today.

According to a source who spoke with Aluta, the students were whisked away while the SUG president, Comr. Donatus Okolieuwa, and other key union’s officials were away.

But in his statement this evening, Comr. Okolieuwa expressed displeasure over the incident, adding that it is an embarrassment not just to SUG but to the ESUT community as well as the school authorities.

“I have instructed the school CSO to bring back the ESUT hostellers that were arrested by the police this morning in my absence. They must not stay in the police custody beyond this evening

Woman Banished From Enugu Community For Allegedly Cheating On Her Husband (Photos)

A woman identified as Martina has been allegedly banished in Iheakpu Obollo Afor village in Udenu Local Government Council area for cheating on her husband.

According to report, the said woman has been cheating on her husband for long time and had been appeasing the land through rituals.

According to a source in the village who craved anonymity, "the husband has been sick for long time due to the sacrilege of his wife, and it's against the tradition of the LAND. The HUSBAND and UMUNNA joined to banish the woman."
Her husband name is popularly known as Abisco in Ochisiri Iheakpu Obollo.
