Oxygen Therapy!
Oxygen is a constituents of air we breath on a daily basis, that's to say, we as humans takes in oxygen along side other gases into our system (our lungs).
A natural air contains about 21% of oxygen then 79% of other gases such as Nitrogen (78%), Carbon dioxide (0.04%), Argon (0.93%), some trace amounts of helium, neon, methane, hydrogen and water vapour.
That is to say it's the function of the respiratory system (the lungs, the aveoli) to filter out other gases in the air we breath and send only oxygen into the blood for oxygenation.
Then, What happens to a patient with respiratory tract infection, patient with lung disease and other clinical conditions that has compromised the respiratory system that they can no long perform it's function as required?
When the oxygen saturation level of a patient drops, it's a clear indication that that patients needs OXYGEN.
In this situation how do we get a pure oxygen to give to the patient since such a patient can NO long get enough oxygen by natural means?
The Answer is OXYGEN PLANT
An Oxygen plant is a systems designed to generate and store oxygen from atmospheric air.
That's to say that oxygen plant is a system that has ability to filter out other constituents of air and keeps oxygen with a high level of purification.
The pictures and videos attached to this write up is an example of OXYGEN PLANT.
I will make a video on this to explain more.
If you want a video tutorial on this please indicate on the comment section.
I know, someone may ask iFix what about oxygen concentrator?

The cause of rusting in an Autoclave
One of the main cause of the corrosion/rust in autoclave is the use of tap water (which is chlorinated).
What will happen to the autoclave?
One of the negative effects of this corrosion/rust in an Autoclave over the time is overheating.
This may lead to high temperature alarms that may be seen in autoclaves that is experiencing corrosion/rust.
What's the way forward?
It's highly advised to use distilled or a well purified water for the operation of autoclaves to prevent similar deterioration that could lead to failure of the autoclave.

Filterless Suction!
Engr. Why are you insisting that we put filter in this machine before putting it use, we have been using it without filter and is working well
Me: 😲
Few days later this is the result.
What you are seeing here is an overflow of blood from the bottle into the pump as a result of no filter in the machine.
One of the fastest way to k!ll your pump is by using it without filter.
Well, it was a whole lot of work to get this machine back to its functional state because of rust and clogs.
But the good news is, with a total overhaul the functionality was fully restored.

MR-aided radiation technology
Approximately 50% of cancer patients receive some type of radiation therapy during their cancer treatment.
The goal of radiation therapy is to destroy cancer cells and / or slow tumor growth without harming nearby healthy tissue.
MR-aided radiation technology is a new-age cancer treatment device aided with a magnetic resonance (MR) scanner.
This device focuses on radiating targeted organs with 3-dimensional detailing without damaging associated tissues, thereby offering safer radiation therapy to patients.
In a simpler term; The MRI is used to scan investigate or diagnose conditions that affect soft tissue while the radiation is use to destroy the cancerous cells that are been detected during the process.
