My life could have ended on December 1, 2022.

I woke up on that faithful day.

(it's a story time)

Saying goodbye to my parents while carrying my school bag...
.. and traveling to NYSC Asaya Camp, Kabba, Kogi State.

That was during the scarcity of petrol around November–December 2022.

On getting to Owo, Ondo State, our bus entered a filling station to buy fuel.

We couldn’t find any working filling stations from Ibadan to Owo.

And the fuel in the tank is almost finished.

The driver filled up the tank and two 5-liter kegs.

He gave me kegs of petrol to arrange in the space beside the door.

… Because I am the one sitting at the door.

The driver started the ignition, pressed the clutch, and applied gear one.

Instead of the bus moving, we heard a continuous sound (KRA! KRAKA!! KA!!!) from the left-front tire side.

The driver turned off the ignition and got out of the bus to check on the issue.

He came back after a few seconds and told us to drop down that something had spoiled there (I have forgotten what he said specifically.)

All the passengers dropped down…

You can relate to what people say when such a thing happens.

Not up to 5 minutes later, we heard another sound different from the previous sound.

We heard GBUAAA!!!

What’s that? FIRE…

At where? Our bus is on fire!!!

My documents are in my bag. And my bag is in the vehicle…

Yeeh… 5 years in Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro is burning.

But I thank God I’m still alive.

Imagine the vehicle was in motion.

What would have happened?

The worst would have happened to me.

I might not be alive today.

Your Facebook ads didn’t convert because it didn’t:

However, these are things you should take note before you publish your next ad.

❌️ Don't run ads as soon as you have created ad account and pages.

❌️ If your ad account is new, don't jump to lead and sales campaign directly.

✅ ️First post some content and invite your friends to like and engage.

✅️ Do some activity to make it look legit and not spammy.

✅️ Then start with traffic and engagement ads.

These warm up your account as well

Try to keep things simple,

❌️ Don't run too many ads.
❌️ Don't increase too much budget at a go.

Level up slowly.

And once in a month, run engagement campaign on low budget for 3-5 days to keep your account from getting banned or restricted.

✅️ Use 2 factor authentication and verify business.
