One way to get your ironing done much faster is by placing foil under your ironing board/table and continue to enjoy ironing.

By doing this☝️, the reflected heat from the foil helps with the other side of your clothes and you wouldn't need to iron the other side as using the foil would have ironed both sides of your clothes at once.

Do you know that in Ancient Rome, there used to be vessels placed on the streets to collect urine?

After the vessels were filled with urine from people passing by to relieve themselves, the vessels were taken to the laundry where a worker would stand in the tub of urine and stomp (trample heavily) on the clothes to wash them.

If you are wondering how urine could wash a cloth clean, you need to know it contains "ammonia" which is also an ingredient in detergents.

Ammonia contained in urine not only made the clothes cleaner but the colours brighter.

I recently attended a friend's wedding event and after I consumed all the sweet edibles😋, I realized my dress got stained.

I washed my dress and I observed it got smaller after washing and I have not been able to wear it out to another event since then.😭

Smile again, for there is a way you can have your shrinked dress return to its original size with baby shampoo with the steps👇

✓ Fill a sink or tub with lukewarm water and add a cap of baby shampoo.

✓ Let the cloth soak in the baby shampoo water&gently work it through. This will relax the fibres in the clothing.

✓ Remove the clothes&gently squeeze out water . Do not rinse.

✓ Take a large towel and lay the clothes flat on it.

✓ Roll the towel up with the clothes inside. This absorbs the moisture so the clothes is damp but not wet.

✓ Gently stretch the clothes as it lays out to dry.

✓ Continue to do this until your clothes returns to its original size.
