TWINS CHRONICLES Episode 1

One of the "Cons" of having a child with your exact personality is that you feel extremely guilty anytime you take action against that child for something they did and you know you did too or are likely to do🙈🙈🙈.

As a mother of 4 fantastic humans and a solo mom also, I'm very familiar with the concept of individual difference.

There's the one that "pankere" or punishment resets the brain. For another just blunt words does all the magic and there's the pair I'm still learning how best to manage🙄🙄🙄.

I mean after 4 whole years of their existence, I'm still learning. Honestly Twins will humble you🫣🫣🫣.

Everything about them is DOUBLE DOSE. Double Joy, Double Fun, Double Care, Double Spending & Double Trouble 😂😂😂.

So while you're doing everything to take very good care of them, you also don't want to spoil them🤷. And very importantly, YOU DON'T WANT TO OFFEND THEM😂😂😂.

Tayelolu aka TY is that twin you don't want to mess with. She's very "STRONG WILLED", emotionally intelligent, independent (wants to do things herself) and can remember things you don't even think she noticed. Infact SHE IS ME🙈🙈🙈.

Whenever she does something I don't like, first thing I do is RESTRICT her. I make her sit in a particular spot then just ignore her totally while I try to work through my thoughts and find solutions.

When she's tired, she go come and be chin gumming me and me sef don calm down by then 😂😂😂.

Raising the Twins alone has been a huge learning curve for me in my motherhood journey. Learning to manage my emotions was my biggest challenge because sometimes I'm just overwhelmed.

Once I learnt not to overreact, my everyday life as a solo mom became easier.
