As the chairman of the House Committee on ICT and Cyber Security, my excitement knows no bounds as this game changer is indeed a giant leap and a major boost in the country's Digital Economy.
This development will indeed change the narratives of many Nigerians in the provision of jobs for millions of Nigerians especially my constituents in the IBNW/IBSW Federal Constituency.
This is a major boost in the country's digital economy as it will be used to support the development of digital infrastructure, skills training, and innovation in the country's digital sector and it will also bring a digital balance between urban and rural settlements in the country.
I especially commend the Federal Government for securing this facility on Digital Infrastructure and I believe it will be put to the utmost use.
I am confident this mammoth stride will make Nigeria a Digital Giant in Africa and a Global leader in the Digital Economy. This is indeed a historic moment for my dear country - ASOO

I'm happy that my unwavering dedication and substantial contributions to the fields of Technology and Security in my constituency and beyond was noticed and appreciated.

Be genuinely happy for good news received by others, and when yours comes they will also celebrate with you.
I, on Wednesday moved a motion on the need to investigate the National Hajj Commission, NAHCON, for the untold hardship faced by 100,000 pilgrims that attended the just concluded Muslim Pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
I went to Hajj myself and I must say that the way our pilgrims were treated is nothing to write home about and should not be swept under the rug.
This year’s Hajj recorded one of the largest turnouts in the history of Nigeria. Some core operators perpetrated the worst form of unprofessionalism by failing to provide services to pilgrims in terms of accommodation, feeding and transportation and even until now, some of the pilgrims are yet to be airlifted back home. They do not get value for the huge amount invested in the exercise and that is needed to be looked into.
I am disturbed by the absence of emergency medical services for sick patients in distress at Minna camp as many could not even access ambulance services to the camp.
“Furthermore, I am also disturbed by the fact that most Nigerian pilgrims were made to miss their flights and had to procure new ticket without justification or justifiable cause, due to the disturbing bottlenecks placed by the Hajj services centres, especially service centre 16, who withheld passports of pilgrims until the bottlenecks were fulfilled.
“Worried that many Nigerian pilgrims cannot get commensurate value for the high amount of money they paid for, I am justly clamouring for a full refund for the tent and their feeding. I am worried that the agency mandated to cater for the pilgrims affairs, NAHCON, has not been proactive in ameliorating the plight of Nigerians during the Hajj exercise.
So we plead with Mr Speaker to mandate the Committee on the Pilgrim Affairs constituted to conduct a detailed investigation into the several anomalies that emanated from the exercise and report back to the House within four weeks for further legislative actions.
“Also, to mandate the Committee on Legislative Compliance, when constituted, to ensure implementation,” -ASOO

Today, I, Hon. Dhikirulahi Adedeji Olajide, lent my voice to the approval of the N500 billion requested by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians following the fuel subsidy.
In my submission, I said, this is indeed a wonderful and good day for Nigeria and Nigerians.” It is the first time I see an executive ready to listen and provide for the needs of Nigerians.
I conclude by saying, the Palliatives will not only cushion the effect of the suffering melted on them upon subsidy removal but will also make an average Nigerian feel among in their own country.
The bold steps the president took by removing fuel subsidy on his inauguration day. I knew it was not an easy decision for Mr. President to make but like others, I believe it was in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians. Be that as it may, I am relieved that the president came up with the idea of palliative and I'm in total support of it to be approved.
I will not stop to lend my voice for the benefits of my good people of Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency and beyond - ASOO.

Today, by the grace of Almighty Allah, I, alongside my adorable wife, according to my schedule paid a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Pilgrims at Najmat Ajyad Hotel, Reabach Area, Ajyad, Makkah.
Firstly, I especially greet them all in the name of Our Governor, My Leader, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde and also in my name.
While addressing them, I made them understand that they are not the only ones experiencing some challenges in this period of spiritual exercise and that I am also experiencing a similar situation. This experience in Mecca is a leveler as all social classes of people get the same treatment.
Giving them a take-home message, I made it clear to everyone that, saying one is a Muslim is cheap, but acting is the most important thing that has to be done. We have some who claim to be Muslims but their actions speak against the same religion, so I urged everyone to please be a true Muslim Ambassador by acting the truth about Islam.
In all honesty, I appreciate them all for allowing me to address them today. I appreciated them all for the patience and perseverance they have exercised for the time being, and to complement my verbal appreciation, I gifted them a token of N5Million and I assured them that the lessons I have learned here coupled with the assignment they have given me to execute in Abuja, I will fight for everyone’s rights by the grace of Almighty Allah.
And I pray that, as we have come to observe one of the major rites in Islam here, may Almighty God endow us with the benefits. May people see us and glorify the name of Almighty Allah in our lives, Amin. - ASOO
