Happy 63rd Independence Day, fellow Nigerians.

As we celebrate this significant milestone in our nation's history, let us not only reflect on our past but also envision the future. Today, I celebrate the possibility of a greater Nigeria — where things work as they should because everyone GETS INVOLVED and plays their respective roles to the best of their ability, citizens and public servants alike.

Our journey to this moment has been marked by challenges and triumphs, but through it all, our resilience has shone brightly. Now, as we stand on the threshold of a new era, let us embrace the SHARED RESPONSIBILITY that comes with freedom. It's a responsibility to our communities, our fellow citizens, and our beloved nation.

We must see the possibility of a greater Nigeria as a collective call to action, a rally to get involved, to build the Nigeria we all desire. Every effort, no matter how small, counts.

I am confident that when we truly embrace this shared responsibility, the progress and prosperity we deserve will become our constant companion.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! 🎉🇳🇬

As we celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, I extend warm and heartfelt greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters across Oyo State and our nation.

This special day marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), a man whose life exemplified compassion, wisdom, and humility. His teachings continue to inspire countless individuals, transcending time and place. As we commemorate his birth, it is an opportunity for us to reflect on his noble character and the values he upheld.

Prophet Muhammad's life was a shining example of kindness, empathy, and justice. He championed the cause of the marginalized, advocated for peace, and encouraged unity among diverse communities. His teachings offer invaluable guidance in our quest for a just and harmonious society.

In these challenging times, it is quite instructive to draw inspiration from the Prophet's teachings. Let us strive to emulate his compassion and goodwill in our daily lives, fostering understanding and unity among all people. Through acts of charity, empathy, and respect for one another, we can honor his legacy.

Once again, I extend my warmest wishes to all our Muslim brothers and sisters on this joyous occasion.

Eid Mubarak!

I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of our dear brother and comrade, Hon. Abimbola Omiyale. His loss is a profound one, and it's difficult to find the words to truly capture the impact his presence had on me and everyone around him

Hon. Abimbola Omiyale was not just a colleague; he was a dedicated public servant who served as a Local government Chairman at Ibadan Southeast. I got to know him a very present leader, a committed gentleman, and a friend to many. His passion for serving the people was evident in everything he did, and he did prove this by giving his time, presence and experience to our recent political efforts.

As we mourn his passing, my thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. May Allah, in His infinite mercy, grant Hon. Abimbola Omiyale Aljana Firdaus, and may his family find strength and solace in their cherished memories of him.

We have lost a true gentleman who had genuine interest in people and for our community; his legacy will forever be remembered. Rest in peace, dear brother and comrade.

MY MESSAGE TO THE MUSLIM UMMAH IN OYO STATE AS WE CELEBRATE THE ISLAMIC NEW YEAR

Dear Muslim brothers and sisters across Oyo State,
Assalam Alaikum.

As we commemorate the arrival of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1445, I extend my warmest greetings and well wishes to all of you in our community. This sacred occasion not only marks a new beginning but also serves as a reminder of the timeless values and teachings of Islam that guide our lives.

This particular new year proves timely as it helps us reflect on the journey of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the early Muslims during the Hijrah. They demonstrated unwavering faith, determination, and unity as they established a thriving community in the face of immense challenges. Today, we can draw inspiration from their example and apply it to our lives.

We are currently faced with economic challenges that affect our nation. It is essential for us to unite and draw strength from our faith and the Prophet's example as we navigate these difficulties. The principles and tenets of Islam provide us with a solid foundation to face adversity and overcome obstacles with resilience, patience, and perseverance.

While we pray for the best outcomes to benefit and bring succour to all citizens, let us keep striving to be beacons of light in our communities, promoting harmony, understanding, and social cohesion.

I wish you and your loved ones a blessed and fulfilling Hijrah 1445, and may it be a turning point in our lives.
Ameen.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Pa Samson Olayiwola Lakondoro, a prominent political mentor and father who lived a long and distinguished life.

In my time knowing Baba, it was always enriching to draw from his well of wisdom and insight. His influence on his mentees and followers will remain remarkable, and his absence will be deeply felt.

As we mourn his passing, I urge that we also celebrate and honor Pa Lakondoro's contributions to the betterment of his community and this state, particularly his beloved constituency of sports development, where he oversaw affairs at Shooting Stars FC as a former chairman.

My thoughts are with Baba's immediate family at this difficult time, and I hope that we all take comfort in knowing how much he was loved and respected by many.

May his soul rest in peace.

My heartfelt congratulations to the Christian faithful in Oyo State and across the nation as we celebrate Easter. This holiday is a time of great significance, as we honor the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the hope that his resurrection brings.

In a world that can often feel overwhelming and uncertain, Easter reminds us that there is always hope for a brighter and better tomorrow. The life and teachings of Jesus Christ exemplify how to live with hope in our hearts, even in the face of adversity, and this is one of the lessons of Easter that we are called not only to celebrate but also to embrace.

May this Easter bring you joy, peace, and a renewed sense of hope for the future. May we continue to live with this hope in our hearts, and may we be able to spread the same hope and love to those around us.

Congratulations once again.

Fellow Citizens, Dear Comrades, One More Important Step To Take | Statement by KOLAPOBOYE KOLA-DAISI

Dear fellow citizens,

As we approach the upcoming state elections, I urge you all to consider the impact your vote will have on achieving a better future for this place we call home, Oyo State.

Now, more than ever, we need a leader who shares our values and is truly committed to serving the people. I am proud to say that our gubernatorial candidate in the ACCORD, Chief Bayo Adelabu, OFR, is that leader. He is a man of integrity, with a proven track record of excellence in both the public and private sectors.

As a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Chief Adelabu possesses the experience and knowledge necessary to navigate the complex economic challenges facing our State. He is also deeply committed to investing in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and other critical areas that will improve the lives of all Oyo State citizens.

But Chief Adelabu cannot accomplish these goals alone. He needs our support, our votes, and our voices. That is why I urge you all to come out and vote for him and every House of Assembly candidate of the ACCORD on the 11th of March, 2023.

As Oyo state true-borns who do not bow or cower to any external influence, let us rise to the occasion and show the world that we have a mind of our own to choose the candidate who will champion our values, who will listen to our concerns, and who will work tirelessly to make our state live up to its pacesetter status and slogan.

Let us show the nation that "A jí se bí Òyó làárí, Òyó ò se bíi Baba enìkan" is not a farce.

I have faith in our party, I have faith in the capacity of Chief Bayo Adelabu as the next governor of our State, and I have faith in you, the people.

Thank you, and let's go out and vote for the ACCORD!

Yours in continued service,
Idris Kolapoboye Kola-Daisi.

Fellow constituents of Oyo South,

I express utmost gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the course of this election. Unfortunately, the results have not been in our favor.

I know this is not the outcome we were hoping for, but I want to assure you that this is not the end of our journey. We have fought hard for our beliefs, and although we did not succeed this time, we should not lose hope or give up on our aspirations for a better future through performance-driven representation and people-centered ideas.

It is important to acknowledge the democratic process and respect the choice of our fellow citizens. While we may be disappointed with this outcome, we must accept it with grace and humility. This is the beauty of democracy - the people's voice is heard, and we must respect their decision. I hereby congratulate the candidate of the APC, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, winner of the Oyo South Senatorial district election; and I wish him the best as he prepares to represent our constituency.

I want to thank everyone who supported us, from volunteers to donors, my amazing team, and everyone who cast their vote in our favor. Your dedication and commitment to our cause have been invaluable, and I am proud to have had you by my side.

I am filled with hope and optimism for the future, and I urge you all to continue to stay engaged, informed, and active in our democratic process. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our fellow citizens and build a better, more inclusive society.

Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to continuing to serve you in every way I can. Stay glued to the JÉKÁ DÁSI channel my dear people, there is more to come.

Yours in continued service,
Idris Kolapoboye Kola-Daisi
