Dear Mum of the Dyslexic Child.
You are awesome. Your child is awesome. I love to think that you know this, but in case you haven't heard it recently, I'll say it again..,
You are awesome. Your child is awesome.
Having dyslexia is actually a superpower. The ability to create an image of words is the greatest gift ever!
And yes, that's why your child is awesome.
This training is for you.
Why use the EYFS curriculum.
The EYFS curriculum is one that seeks to meet the physical, emotional and psychological (sensory) needs of children to lay a learning foundation that is solid enough to help them through to the highest level of education.
What does this mean?
It means that this curriculum is tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals and the educational level they find themselves.
It means that, even if a child is two years old and is learning at the pace of a 6 month old, the curriculum is tailored to meet their needs and vice versa.
The reading bee workshop is one that will use the aforementioned curriculum to o teach you how to reach out to all learners, no matter what level of learning they are and no matter their age, showing you ways to build a reading foundation that will help them read independently and decode words using the strategies taught.
You will be getting a training that is worth at least 250 pounds for almost nothing.
You will be getting over 20yrs of experience from facilitators.
In fact, one of the facilitators is dyslexic.
Come and learn how they have used this to become an awesome reader who read when they were 5 years old!
You will come away with loads of ideas and tips on how to engage your awesome child.
