In September 2021, 12-year-old Maryam developed a Restaurant Management System which was inspired by her mum's profession (Catering). She built the solution using #Python. There are more Maryams out there that need to be encouraged to get involved in #coding. Get your child involved in tech, you will be glad you did in a few years.

Bakare Mariam (12 years old) joined the KidsTech Africa Program in April 2021 where she was enrolled in the python course. By learning python she developed a restaurant management system that was inspired by her mum's profession (Caterer). She is beta testing this and adding more features in readiness for the market. The African Young Innovators Challenge (AYIC) is an annual contest that gives a platform to young African kids to showcase innovation and creativity in the area of technology. The contest is open to kids within the ages of 6-15 and has a winning prize of 5000USD which will cover cash prizes and other benefits.
