To shed light on means; to make it possible to understand or know more about something; to enlighten; to make clear.
Since light illuminates, you can't shed more light on.β instead say; π
How long did it take you, to discover, that the letter 's', in the word "RESIDE" doesn't make the sound of letter 'S' /s/ but makes the sound of letter 'Z' /z/.

One way to be a better speaker is, by improving in your vocabulary.
A lot of people often, only use one word when they describe how they feel.
Today, let's learn new ways to describe how you feel.
Instead of saying "I am tired", you could use the following words;
1. SPENT
Sentence Example:
She has been working on a project all day, she must be spent.
2. DRAINED.
Sentence Example:
I worked a lot of overtime this weekend and now, I'm drained.
3. WORN OUT
Sentence Example:
I love to go clubing this weekend, but I'm so worn out from work.
4. POOPED.
Sentence Example:
Today, has been so hectic, I'm pooped.
5. TUCkERED OUT
Sentence Example:
After a long trip with my kids, they're tuckered out.

REDUNDANCY
Redundancy is when one uses two or more words together, that mean the same thing.
Redundancy in such a context is also known as tautology.

1."Unexpected surprise"

Confusing words:
LOSE and LOOSE
Confusing words are two or more words that are easily confused with one another because of similarities in spellings or pronunciation.
LOSE is a verb meaning, not to have something anymore, to be unable to find something or to not win.
The letter 's' makes the sound /z/.
It's transcribed as /lu:z/
Sentence Examples:

βΆHe will lose his money, if he gambles with it.
LOOSE is an adjective that means free, not tight or unattached.
