Let's make our voices heard without violence! 🗳️🙌🏾

Fellow Nigerians! With the general elections coming up, it's important to remember that our voices matter, and we can make a difference by exercising our right to vote. But let's also remember that violence is never the answer. We can make our voices heard without resorting to aggression or harm.

So let's come together as a community and promote peace and unity, not just during the elections, but always. Let's encourage our friends and family members to vote and be part of the change we want to see in our country. Together, we can make a difference!

Remember: . Let's make this election a peaceful one! 🇳🇬🙏🏾

25 November is set to raise public awareness of violence against women and also encourage activism, provide support for victims of Gender Based Violence and Harassment (GBVH).

“Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today that remains largely unreported due to the impunity, silence, stigma and shame surrounding it.”
UN Women

Gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH) is still prevalent in all our industries, despite all our efforts and the work done in terms of awareness and education. A world free of violence and harassment is still a long way off. This fight against GBVH should be a daily struggle in our quest for mitigating gender violence and Promoting unity and development.

There is need for us to create and atmosphere of Openness and encourage the act of Speaking OUT in our societies.

Eight glasses a day keeps dehydration away.”

That’s the golden rule for how much water our body needs to stay healthy.

But what happens if you’re not able to drink one glass of water, let alone eight?

That’s the reality for 13 million people in East Africa right now. Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia are facing historic droughts and the worst water shortage in decades. Since 2000, droughts in East Africa have doubled due to the climate emergency.

Across the world, extreme weather like this is growing more frequent as the climate crisis worsens. As lakes and rivers dry up, so too does access to clean drinking water.

It doesn’t have to be this way. If governments act now to reduce emissions and build climate-resilient societies, we can make water scarcity a relic of the past.

This World Water Day, join me in demanding climate justice for everyone.

“Eight glasses a day” shouldn’t be a priveldge. It should be a right.
