Dearest JUMSAites

On behalf of the executives, I wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity given to us to serve this great association.

As we take a bow from active service and handover to a new administration today, it is our sincere prayer that the association continues to grow in width and heights.

We are happy that we indeed left the association better than we met it. We pray and hope that the next administration attains far greater heights than we did.

Thank you for all the support and God bless.

Yours, bowing out of service,
Ogenyi Simon
President.

THANK YOU

It’s with great delight, ecstasy and excitement I wish to applaud the gallantry and solidarity of all JUMSites for participating in the polls. We overcame all odds and made immense sacrifices just to vote.

Special appreciation to the exam class; final year resit class who took the time out to vote. I am overwhelmed by such unwavering trust in the system and I hope we experience a huge success in the exams, as the academic excellence of all JUMSites remains my top notch priority.

I also wish to extend a hand of support to my other fellow contestants, we all tirelessly worked hard to win and gave each other sleepless nights in the course of the elections, but just as it is said, no victor no vanquished.

To my fellow elected aspirants, it’s time to go back to the drawing board to get back our union fully on track. The work before us is massive. Nonetheless, we can surmount it by bringing our collective wealth of wisdom on board.

To all JUMSites, elections are over, regardless we are all together. No one would be left behind, this government is for you; your opinions matter, your complaints quickly addressed, and your contributions would be highly sought out.

Once more thank you all for your support and belief, and I vow not to let you down, so help me God.

Yours in service.

*The Pace has been set and a Record kept*

Today, JUMSAites experienced and had a taste of quality molded out of the passionate impact of those who keyed in and believed in the current administration. Amid the presenting challenges, a platform for learning, fun, games, poetry, quiz, refreshment and most importantly a hearty discussion between Students and erudite Lectures was created.
Difficult as it was, it ran smoothly, through dedication, hard work and collective effort of all those who played key roles, especially those behind the curtains who made this event a success worthy of praise, is the Dean of Clinical Sciences Dr. V C Pam, who was present alongside,
Prof. C. Isichei,
Prof. Amaka Ocheke,
Dr. Ofakurin.
And The President of our sister MSA, BhUMSA.

I say a great thank you!!!

It is indeed imperative that we celebrate ourselves once in a while and take little breaks such as the Health Week. In times like this, new information are acquired, smarter plans are created, better ways explored and relaxation is at its peak.

I therefore use this opportunity to admonish you to take this chance to ease that stress, find comfort, catch the fun while it's right before you, learn new things, come out in numbers when reached out to and make this your funfair in medical school and see how merry you'll be.
A doctor once said "It is not all about reading, a little fun is required and a lot can be learnt outside the four walls of a class room".

*_A standard has been created._*

The 33rd JUMSA Annual Health Week, *unarguably* the *Best* in recent time, is here to spark a new kind of excitement in our medical journey. Join in now and catch the fun.

God bless the current administration and God bless JUMSA.

Greetings dear JUMSAites.

Today, we begin the campaign to join the world in the fight against the COVID-19 'infodemic'.

We owe it to our family, community and indeed Plateau State to resound verified information while addressing various misconceptions about COVID-19.

We can all volunteer and support this campaign by sharing materials released on all our social media pages.

We can achieve the goal of successfully combating the spread of the virus through informed decisions we make from available information.

Together, we shall prevail over this storm.
