Breast cancer is completely treatable and patients live their normal lives only if detected early. It is important to check your breasts regularly and have any lump checked by your doctor. Don’t take this for granted as you may be saving your life or that of your loved one.
Esther Olisadebe is one of the participants of our just concluded free breast cancer screening. She has been diagnosed of breast cancer which has metastasized through the lymph nodes under her armpit. She needs help to go through her treatment as she can’t afford the treatment. If it touches you to help Esther, kindly donate to her treatment through the initiative account.
Remember the Bible encourages us to keep sowing seeds as we don’t know that which will bear fruits. Please help Esther.

Everyone can help save someone
Worthy Wellness Initiative (non profit organization ) had her first free breast cancer screening for women at BM Empire Multispecialist Hospital, Surulere to mark October breast cancer month.
The women were educated, examined and screened by medical professionals in various fields. Those that lumps were detected in their breasts were further examined by the Pathologist who took their samples for biopsy. We keep praying for good results.
If cancer is detected in any one, another journey begins. Hence your donations towards this worthy cause will be deeply appreciated. Cancer fight is a collective fight.

HOPEFUL VOICES: Inauguration of Worthy Wellness Initiative (Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation)
Spread the breast cancer awareness
Remember we are all in this; brothers, sisters, aunties, daddies, let's help and support our mothers and sister in fighting this deadly disease that take short the life of our love ones
Help spread the awareness. Early detection is the key 🔑
The more we know about breast cancer, the better the chances of detecting abnormalities before cancer develops or detecting cancer in its early stages when treatment has its highest potential for success.
Some Breast Cancer Signs and Symptoms
Breast cancer is the No. 1 most common cancer in all women, regardless of ethnicity. And 11% of breast cancer cases are found in women under the age of 45, so this is a cancer we should all be on the lookout for. Here are some of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer that you need to be aware of:
1. Ni**le Discharge
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, any type of discharge that is not milk from the ni**le can be a sign of breast cancer. This includes discharge that appears to look like pus, or is bloody.
2. A Lump in the Breast or Armpit
A lump is the classic sign of breast cancer that we are familiar with, but it can be difficult to know specifically what we need to keep in mind.
These are the specific details about when a lump needs further evaluation:
a. If the lump is new for you (and keep in mind some lumps in your breasts are hormonal and may come and go with different times of the month).
b. If the lump feels different from the rest of your breast.
c. If the lump in one breast feels different from your other breast.
d. If the lump feels different from anything you have felt before.
3, Breast Rash
An itchy, scaly, or sore rash, or redness and swelling in any part of the breast can indicate breast cancer. And if this sounds like signs of mastitis, you're right. Women who are lactacting have reported a harder time getting diagnosed because breast cancer can be masked or overlooked.
4. An Inverted Ni**le
If you notice that your ni**le has suddenly become inverted, or any other part of your breast looks "indented," you will want to have a full breast examination, as sometimes breast cancer cells beneath the skin's surface can "pull down" the skin.
5. Breast Thickening or Swelling
One symptom of breast cancer that may be more difficult to identify compared to a bump is when the skin on one or both breasts becomes thickened and/or swells. This can also be accompanied by other symptoms, such as scaly skin, a rash, pain, or redness.
6. Puckering of the Skin
Similar to skin indenting or a ni**le inverting, if you notice "puckering" of the skin on your breasts or dimpling in any area of the breast, it might also indicate that you need a full evaluation from your doctor.
7. Change in Breast Shape
Along with any thickening or swelling in your breast, if you notice that one breast changes shape, it might be a symptom of breast cancer. The change in shape could mean that your breast increases in size, decreases in size, or changes into anything that you haven't noticed before.
8. Breast Pain
Breast pain that doesn't go away could be a symptom of breast cancer. This can be accompanied by other symptoms, but the most important thing to note is if the pain changes at all, or is persistent.
9. No Symptoms at All
In some cases, there are no outward signs or symptoms of breast cancer. That's why it's very important for women to speak with their doctor about the right time to begin breast cancer screening.
It is as a result of this that Worthy Wellness Initiative was established to ensure that women understand the importance of breast screening for early detection.
Even though data shows that women are far more prone to breast cancer than men, our lovely men are completely not excluded. Here are a few signs!
