Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion—inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Mk 2:18-22
The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were accustomed to fast.
People came to Jesus and objected,
"Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast,
but your disciples do not fast?"
Jesus answered them,
"Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?
As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.
But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them,
and then they will fast on that day.
No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak.
If he does, its fullness pulls away,
the new from the old, and the tear gets worse.
Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins,
and both the wine and the skins are ruined.
Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins."

MT 11:16-19
Jesus said to the crowds:
“To what shall I compare this generation?
It is like children who sit in marketplaces and call to one another,
‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance,
we sang a dirge but you did not mourn.’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they said,
‘He is possessed by a demon.’
The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they said,
‘Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard,
a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’
But wisdom is vindicated by her works.”

November 1st - Solemnity of All Saints

Today the Church celebrates all the saints: canonized or beatified, and the multitude of those who are in heaven enjoying the beatific vision that are only known to God. During the early centuries the Saints venerated by the Church were all martyrs. Later on the Popes set November 1 as the day for commemorating all the Saints. We all have this "universal call to holiness." What must we to do in order to join the company of the saints in heaven? We "must follow in His footsteps and conform [our]selves to His image seeking the will of the Father in all things. [We] must devote [our]selves with all [our] being to the glory of God and the service of [our] neighbor. In this way, the holiness of the People of God will grow into an abundant harvest of good, as is admirably shown by the life of so many saints in Church history" (Lumen Gentium, 40).

All Saints Day
During the year the Church celebrates one by one the feasts of the saints. Today she joins them all in one festival. In addition to those whose names she knows, she recalls in a magnificent vision all the others "of all nations and tribes standing before the throne and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands, proclaiming Him who redeemed them in His Blood."

The feast of All Saints should inspire us with tremendous hope. Among the saints in heaven are some whom we have known. All lived on earth lives like our own. They were baptized, marked with the sign of faith, they were faithful to Christ's teaching and they have gone before us to the heavenly home whence they call on us to follow them. The Gospel of the Beatitudes, read today, while it shows their happiness, shows, too, the road that they followed; there is no other that will lead us whither they have gone.

"The Commemoration of All Saints" was first celebrated in the East. The feast is found in the West on different dates in the eighth century. The Roman Martyrology mentions that this date is a claim of fame for Gregory IV (827-844) and that he extended this observance to the whole of Christendom; it seems certain, however, that Gregory III (731-741) preceded him in this. At Rome, on the other hand, on May 13, there was the annual commemoration of the consecration of the basilica of St. Maria ad Martyres (or St. Mary and All Martyrs). This was the former Pantheon, the temple of Agrippa, dedicated to all the gods of paganism, to which Boniface IV had translated many relics from the catacombs. Gregory VII transferred the anniversary of this dedication to November 1.

Things to Do:

Visiting a cemetery and praying for the dead during the Octave of All Saints' Day (November 1 through November 8) will gain a plenary indulgence that can be applied only to the souls in purgatory. On other days, this work gains a partial indulgence.
Spend a little time after Mass thanking God for all the unnamed saints, some of whom could be our own relatives.
Have a special meal and if you have young children have them dress up like saints and play games.
Pray the Litany of the Saints -- you could make it really special by chanting it ("he who sings prays twice") and you could read an explanation of this litany, which is considered the model of all other litanies.

Indulgences for All Souls Week
An indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in Purgatory, is granted to the faithful, who devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, even if only mentally, for the departed. The indulgence is plenary each day from the first to the eighth of November; on other days of the year it is partial.
A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in Purgatory, is granted to the faithful, who on the day dedicated to the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed [November 2 {as well as on the Sunday preceding or following, and on All Saints' Day}] piously visit a church. In visiting the church it is required that one Our Father and the Creed be recited.

To acquire a plenary indulgence it is necessary also to fulfill the following three conditions: sacramental Confession, Eucharistic communion, and prayer for the intention of the Holy Father. The three conditions may be fulfilled several days before or after the performance of the visit; it is, however, fitting that communion be received and the prayer for the intention of the Holy Father be said on the same day as the visit.

The condition of praying for the intention of the Holy Father is fully satisfied by reciting one Our Father and one Hail Mary. A plenary indulgence can be acquired only once in the course of the day.

O my God, at the end of this day I thank You most heartily for all the graces I have received from You. I am sorry that I have not made a better use of them. I am sorry for all the sins I have committed against You. Forgive me, O my God, and graciously protect me this night. Blessed Virgin Mary, my dear heavenly mother, take me under your protection. St. Joseph, my dear Guardian Angel, and all you saints of God, pray for me. Sweet Jesus, have pity on all poor sinners, and save them from hell. Have mercy on the suffering souls in purgatory... (followed by an Act of Contrition)
Goodnight friends.

WHEN YOU VISIT A PRIEST, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT;

A priest isn't married, nor will he have a family of his own. No wife, no children. His family is his parishioners. He is a spiritual father in faith to the community he serves. His future is in celebrating the Eucharist at Mass every day, listening to Confessions, Anointing the Sick, serving those who come to him for help. A priest may serve a parish only for a minimum of five to seven years. After that he may be transfered to another parish or assigned a different role in the Church. He relies on his team of volunteers, staff and the lay faithful. Don't expect him to be there all the time for you,

When you give money to the Church, you may be surprised to know that the money isn't for him because no priest earns a fixed salary. They receive a stipend to meet their basic expenses of food, clothing and travel. They save every penny to go for a vacation and much of the money is gifted by friends, relatives and well wishers as they don't get paid leave like the rest of us who work. While we work for a fixed amount of hours with two days off a week , priests are expected to be on stand by 24/7. So don't be angry if they don't respond to you when you need them. They are humans as well with the same frailty as us,

If you hear anyone speaking badly about a particular priest, please correct that person and don't engage in idle gossip without knowing the facts. Remember that they are alone and at times would need company. Pay attention to their emotional, physical and mental needs. Accompany them if needed or offer a helping hand or even a lift. It's not easy to go out alone at 2 or 3 in the morning especially in dangerous neighborhoods for counseling or even anointing someone on their death bed. If someone comes to them at such an hour for help, they have to get up from their deep sleep and still be expected to celebrate Mass in the morning. Who is there for them when they are ill or have emergencies in the middle of the night? Yet they are required to perform their duties because if not them, who?

Remember their BIRTHDAYS, ORDINATION ANNIVERSARIES and important events in their lives. Celebrate with them, cry with them. Offer a shoulder to lean on. If they fall, don't judge or criticize. Lift them up and help them on their journey in life. Don't be offended if they don't live up to your expectations. No priest is perfect.

So take care of your priests, remember the ones who BAPTIZED, CONFIRMED, MARRIED and ANOINTED you. The ones who offer Masses for your intentions and pray for you. May God bless our priests in Jesus name, our eternal High Priest. Amen.

THE MESSAGE OF THE AGONISING JESUS Thursday gestamane night 30th June 2022,

........tell my son (,,,,,,,,,, )if they can be serious in their devotion to the most Precious Blood in this great month of July and do their Gestamane well, I will wipe away all that is happening in this country Nigeria! For THEY HOLD THE KEY (that is the true devotees of the Precious Blood) This message is for all the devotees of the Most Precious Blood in Nigeria!
Tell them to take the power that I have given them to destroy the Beast that is going round destroying souls in Nigeria!! They should read the messages that I gave to Barnabas in standing on the authentic messages! Not to do some and leave some....If you want your prayers to be effective you must employ the full messages. Many of the devotees of the Most Precious Blood are not obeying the messages that I first gave to Barnabas. They have watered down the messages and that is why they pray, pray and pray and nothing happens. They thus leave the enemy to be taking the upper hand! Always read the submission "THE SHOCKING STORY OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD IN NIGERIA".(published in 2013) for people to understand and know the truth of the Precious Blood devotion. So that they know what they are doing. Bring it out and share it to people and tell them to read and know the truth and for them to know why things are scattered! The visionary has failed to live up to expectation. He is following money but woe to him for he is going to pay the prize of what he has done in leading my people astray by not following the messages given to him.I (Agonizing Jesus) first warned him but he did not listen .He now follows his own way.I told him what is coming and what to do to over come them but he did not listen. He chose his own way of doing things. It is not what I told him. I told him to stand for me in the church..to tell them to stop all the abuses especially in the Most Holy Eucharist...that the enemy is coming to take over the church!! He is now doing what he likes.... leading people astray. He is afraid! He is pandering to the bishops and priests....following them in destroying my church... the Holy of Holies has been desecrated! and he does not care! The one I called to stand for me.... So I will continue to remind him of what he has done in not living the messages given to him.He has allowed things to scatter in my church and he does not care. Now who will stand for me in all these abuses still going on all over the place?? They are not respecting me in my house! They do as they like not as I want!! So Marian Awareness keep correcting them in all their errors for them to change and follow the messages as I gave to him initially so that souls will be saved. I thank you for listening. I am The Agonizing Master.I have been speaking. I love you .(end of message)
Addendum..please we should all obey God not man. They attack those who tell them the truth.Pray for them before it's too late.If they don't listen to our Lord and anything happens in this country God will hold them directly responsible...because they refused to obey Jesus who gave us the remedy and are now deceiving people into error and perdition because of fear and money. For more clarifications on this message and the Book...THE SHOCKING STORY OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD IN NIGERIA..Contact Marian Awareness and Jesus to Mankind Apostolate on 08179999971.

Q. If Adam and Eve Didn’t Sin, Would Jesus Still Die?
Q. If Adam and Eve didn’t eat the fruit, would Jesus still die on the cross?

A. No. Jesus’ death was because of our sin. Therefore, had sin never entered the world, Jesus would not have had to die. This question, however, can only be answered in a “theoretical” way since Adam, Eve, and all of us did sin. For a more thorough explanation you can read Chapter 4 of “My Catholic Faith” here.

Though this question is difficult to answer in a short and simplified way, let’s consider an analogy. Let’s say that your parents ate poison. The result of this poison is death. The only cure for this poison is to receive a transfusion of new and healthy blood from someone not affected. By analogy, you could say that Jesus entered the world without any effects of this “poison” so that He could offer the divine “transfusion” to Adam and Eve and all their descendants affected by the poison of sin. Thus, the blood of Jesus is what heals us as we receive this blood poured forth from the Sacrifice of the Cross. We receive His saving blood by accepting Him into our lives, especially through the Sacraments and faith.

But this question brings up another more interesting question. If Adam and Eve (and all us who descended from them) never sinned, would God the Son have become human? Would He have taken on human flesh through the Incarnation by the Virgin Mary?

Though the death of Jesus was on account of our sin, His Incarnation (becoming human) was not solely so that He could die for our sin. The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that one of the primary reasons for His Incarnation was “in order to save us by reconciling us with God,” but it also identifies three other reasons: “so that thus we might know God’s love” “to be our model of holiness”; and “to make us ‘partakers of the divine nature’” (See CCC #457-460).

Therefore, it is speculated by some that even if there was no sin, God would have become flesh so as to fulfill these other effects of the Incarnation. Perhaps that’s a bit deep and is only speculation, but it’s beautiful to reflect upon nonetheless!

BREAKING: Abortion is NO LONGER legal in the United States of America.

All the arguments about the rights of women to determine what happens to the unborn rests on the erstwhile ground breaking, history making Roe Vs Wade.

Now, after 50 years, on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Supreme Court of the United States of America has upturned its own earlier decision.

Henceforth, abortion is no longer A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT in the United States of America, at the FEDERAL LEVEL.

Against all odds, America is now pro life (at least as far as the law is concerned).

The question of when LIFE begins continue to be central to these arguments.

This is a VICTORY for all pro lifers and all lovers of life for the unborn.

they are your children and my brothers and sisters.

I ask you to help them find work soon.
