We are thrilled to announce a momentous occasion at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Yaba College of Technology as Tpl (Dr.) Olayiwola, K.O (FNITP) officially passes the baton to Dr. Fagbohun, P.O assuming the esteemed role of the Head of Department (HOD) of Urban and Regional Planning, School of Environmental Studies, Yaba College of Technology. This heralds the beginning of a new chapter, filled with fresh perspectives and exciting possibilities.

Dr. Olayiwola assumed office as the Head of Department of URP in December, 2020 and successfully rounded up his three-year tenure on the 31st on December 2022 and handed over officially today 22nd of May, 2023 at the departmental meeting that held at the Urban and Regional Planning Department, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. His tenure marked unwavering dedication, leadership, and remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the department. We express our heartfelt gratitude for his outstanding service, which has laid a solid foundation for the department's future.
As we welcome Dr. Fagbohun into this pivotal role, we are brimming with anticipation and enthusiasm. His emergence signifies a new era of innovation and progress for the Urban and Regional Planning department. With his wealth of knowledge, experiences, and academic prowess, we are confident that Dr. Fagbohun will lead the department to greater heights.
