The best way to stop a bully is to stand up to them. Putin, the new bully in the east is a handful, eating far more than he can chew.

The big question is this: Does the west have the balls to stand up strong against a bully who holds the key to energy and gas supplies to western households?

Can Putin really be tamed?

Can Putin be restricted or brought to his knees by any world power or is the west just a barking dog that cannot bite?

I think spraying of money in parties and occasions should be banned and violators prosecuted. It is currency abuse. I think it is this open display and opulence, and the reverence accorded to wealth and money display that is inspiring kids into rituals and yahoo get rich schemes.

We need to stop this and now!!

A grandma, acting from spiritual advice from her pastor, gave little baby crude oil to drink to heal heart ailment and child dies.
Who do we really hold responsible?

A society where her people lack basic knowledge, or a people who have resorted to listening to pastors and spirituality to solve every problem, or is it ignorance and poverty, or a government who failed to provide medical assistance to her people leading to unholy practices

Do we say it is the abuse of religion by money making fraudsters?
Where have we gone wrong as a people?

Aliou Cisse an African coach took his country to the football competition in Cameroun and won. African coaches can win when we learn to be patient with them and appreciate and compensate them well. Some of our men are better than these white people we tend to worship. France Germany or Netherlands will not hire a Nigerian coach.

Let us look inwards to solve our problems

Corruption or “Oga wetin you get for me” will be greatly reduced if a workers salary is sufficient to feed him all through the month and pay for his basic bills and he can still save some money left. To fix nigeria and stop graft in my opinion we need to start by creating a society where the majority can be contented from the proceeds of their hard work.

Let me know what you think?

One uncomfortable truth to always contend with is the strength and capacity of the Igbos of Nigeria. They control at least 40 percent of markets in lagos, Kaduna, and several major towns in Nigeria. The Economy of Onitcha is larger than most African Countries. Yet since after the civil war it has been so difficult for Nigerians to concede the Presidency to them. I just got off the phone with a major politician as he hints about the return of Jonathan, and I asked him, why don’t we give the Igbos a shot at the Presidency, his answer was Jonathan is the only Igboman we trust. Just as I find it hard to convince some of my northern and western Nigeria friends that not all people in the south are Igbos. Good luck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan. As the name suggests, is he an Igboman of Ijaw origins? Just thinking out loud.

Thirteen thousand projects abandoned in Niger Delta Development Agency ~ Audit Report.

One: No one may go to prison.
Two: Typical outcome of what to expect in zonal restructuring.

We have built a country where everyone has a price tag and involvement in government is synonymous with getting your own share.
We keep sharing. At what point will we start building the nation.
Is there really hope for our future

I read elsewhere that Nigeria military deactivates and destroyed 33 illegal refineries. If our local boys can figure out how to refine Petrol and are doing it successfully even though illegally, shouldn’t we rather find a way and see how we can improve on their local skills rather than continue to import fuels?
Though it is illegal, but an average Nigerian youth is 'street smart' and 'very creative'.

Just thinking out loud

A sad day for the United States of America!!! 12 US troops have been killed in a bomb attack launched by ISIS at the Kabul airport. Legit.
No form of civilization or enlightenment can defeat an ideology. Sometimes it is better to let people be the way they are used to, than trying to change them to be like you. What constitutes civilization to one man is barbarism to another. Culture is a strong social force, maybe it also explains why our ethnics groups cannot be crystallized for a common goal. Isis and Kabul on my mind
what a sad day

Would Afghanistan had fallen under Donald Trump watch or Biden should be blamed? Or can we say the fall of Afghanistan today to Taliban is a consequence of Trumps American first foreign policy? Who do we hold responsible?

Finally Taliban fighters have entered Afghanistan capital Kabul. Negotiations ongoing as reported by CNN. So now, what is the eventual outcome of 20 years of American occupation, enforcement of democracy and war? At the end the Taliban are returning to power after so many lives lost. Ali Mazuri famous historian was right when he said, you can teach a man anything and he learns and perfect in it, but you cannot teach him how to govern himself, that he has to learn from experience. What a lesson to students of politics and international affairs, sometimes, it may be better to let sleeping dog lie. # Libya, Syria, North Korea, Palestine, among others

I watched a video earlier today with hundreds of Boko haram members and their families as they surrender to be assimilated back to society. As I looked at the faces of the young teenage girls and their kids, I can only conclude that apart from the hardened criminals amongst them, majority of these people are victims of capture, captives, forced into Boko haram territory by use of force, kidnapped and made wives, forced to fight and made human bombs. I think society should assimilate those who are victims, because I think a lot of them are actually victims caught in between. People join enterprises to make gain or receive benefits, these people had nothing to benefit living inside the forest. Men of goodwill should assimilate and integrate them to society while the hardened criminals are fished out and prosecuted. What’s your own opinion?

Copied from RMD's wall- Richard mofe-Damijo:
This is what it takes to make 2k!!! for some Men.
It takes a labourer over 10hrs to earn that 2k...
It will take Brother Azuka to sell 40gig to make 2k.
It will take a gas station/ refiller to sell 40kg of gas to customers to make the 2k.
It will take some teachers days to work for the same 2k.
A laundry man will need to iron 20 clothes to make that 2k.
It will take bike man to work for hours under a scorching sun to make that 2k.
It takes some barbers to barb four customers to make that 2k.
Ask those selling biscuits, they will have to sell a lot of cartons to make that 2k.
Some will say Ordinary ₦2k? .
But.... it's Urgent.
Haven't you heard about urgent 2k?
It is not easy to get 2k but easy to spend.
Just close your eyes, do 1gig sub, take bike, and buy gala. The 2k is gone in minutes.
Always *APPRECIATE* those that give you the 2k when you need it. It is from their sweat .
