Hello! I will be sharing my experiences and observations. I hope to learn from you too.
Stop calling items their brand names. π€ͺ
Make someone smile this Christmas!
Growing up, we knew this red man as FATHER CHRISTMAS. ππ
It is funny how I believed he was from the sky. It is more interesting how children believe he will be bringing gifts.
The mind of children eh ..they just believe anything you tell themππ.
I told my kids Santa was coming with gifts. They believed.
I told them he they worked hard, he would reward them. They did their best.
I also told them that if they misbehaved, their names will be taken off his list. See good behavior ππ.
Yes Santa came, Santa gave gifts and they were so so excited.
What they didn't know was that Santa didn't come from any North Pole. π€ͺ
He was just a staff we decorated.
Guess what, one very observant girl caught us . She said 'This is not Santa! This is Mr ....'ππ
I just told her: Girl please take your gift and leave before Santa takes it back.
That girl casted us but it was too late. π€π€
This is what broken hearts look like. Even if you piece it together, the scars will still remain.
Watch what you do and say to people.
See the School Director miming a dance with the children.
Let's learn something.
These my people have remixed our popular Christmas song ooo. πππ
They were trying to give me a piece of their presentation and convince me to attend.
If these ones are singing like this, how will the others be?
Chineke!
Should I attend their Christmas party?
Laugh wan keel me. ππ
This was absolutely beautiful to watch.
Congratulations Pottersvine Heritage Academy Lagos . Our school from long time .
Children and 'Best Friend' matter. ππ
One gets upset with the other and says that one is no longer a best friend. When they are happy, everyone is their best friend.
The one that amuses me the most is when it's birthday time, everyone wants to be the best friend of the celebrant. As though there was a special party pack for the best friend.
The celebrant just enjoys all the attention as others fight to be identified as her best friend.
Children are pure souls!
The word 'very ' is truly overused.
Whose wife please?
Happy wedding anniversary to my brother and his beautiful wife.
There is a saying : Daddy is every girl's first love.
Some girls, unfortunately, do not experience this. For me, I and my sisters, even my brothers, we were fortunate to enjoy this.
Yes my dad was my first love. The woman I am is as a result of the man my father was.
The memories, where do I even start from?
Let me start with the most embarrassing, the times my dad proved I was his child, his love.
I remember when dad took me to boarding school in Jss1. The advice he gave was too many. I wonder how he wanted me to remember all. The next day late evening we arrived at Onitsha. I was very excited to leave home for the first time. Daddy started with the advice again. I was almost not paying attention. I wanted to talk to the new girls I was seeing . He suddenly stopped talking and I turned to see he was shedding some tears. I was both embarrassed and shocked. Why was daddy crying?
I got the answer to that question when he left and I realized I was going to spend the night alone, without my family. I just burst into tears.
Another day was when daddy saw me off to the park, on my first journey to University of calabar. He and mum saw me off, helped put my luggage in the bus and I boarded the bus. I looked out through the window to wave and was again amazed to see my dad weeping. My mum was scolding him to stop.
As I looked through the window, confused, almost everyone in the bus who had seen him went : E ya! Are you the only child? He would miss you ooo, poor man, BLA BLA BLA ....I was so embarrassed! One woman asked me again if I was the only child and I blurted 'We are seven! I'm the first.' , she responded 'No wonder'. Like no wonder what? Did he have to cry in public? I probably didn't get it till loneliness captured me in school and I needed courage to keep going. Daddy was always there to talk to.
He didn't stop there oo. I had no phone in my first year but I lived in a compound that had land line for the tenants. Everyone received calls on that line. Some mischievous girls were always happy to pick when my dad called me because he would always say: 'Hello, I want to speak with Mercy, my baby girl, my princess..'
The naughty girls will start screaming ' Baby girl! princess! Adia daddy! , etc... I didn't know how that made me feel, maybe because I could be very shy. I won't tell you how he always started the conversation when I picked the call. π
The final embarrassment was my wedding day. O Lord! My in-laws insisted they were taking me to Anambra that night. I was telling my husband we needed to hurry before my dad got too emotional. While everyone boarded the bus, my dad came to say good bye. Before I knew it ....boom! He started shedding tears again. This time, I practically joined. I cried till we got to my husband's village. Everyone got tired of saying 'sorry'.
Only the man who was stealing me from my first love didn't give up.
I miss my dad in more ways than one.
It's 5 years but I will give anything to have him back.
I love forward to when I can write or talk about you without shedding tears, like you used to.

Mood!
What to check to know why your child didn't do well in an examination.
Let's learn some grammar!
People treat you the way they do because you trained them to treat you that way. Always state the boundary!
Teachers, what do you do with a child's result at the end of the term?
When to use 'on' and 'in' during transportation.
Remember that exam is not the best test of knowledge.
How best to help your child revise for exams.
If you are on this table, say 'present'.
Gang of people that can't stand the smell of tabs. They can't even swallow. Some don't even want you to let them know you hid it in the balls of eba that they will swallow.
You people should not be falling sick ooo. Their drama is just too much. The good thing is that most of you love injections.
Me, I will rather take 100 tablets instead of one injection.
Guess what I am making. Look at the condiment and guess. Very delicious. Just because it is the weekend.
My love for spoken word poetry!
You killed it bro!
Happy Sunday.
Nigerians eh....
What kind of pesimism is this one ?
Let me drop this one...
2024 will favour me and my family.
What about you?
Your past does not have to define you. It can refine you.
Integrity is not something to joke about.
This is for 'People like You'.
