I have a client that never forgets to pray for her hair even though she spends sufficiently on it.
My question now is,
Can you be this expressive to your hair?

Another day to take your hair wash as serious as you take bathing serious.
Let's have a little discussion on hot water or cold water for hair wash once you read through.
I was discussing with a beautiful client of mine and we stumbled on the hot water / cold water debate.
I told her when I am at my weakest; after more than 13hrs hair jobs at the salon, I rather bathe cold water and then immerse my feet in little salty hot water to relax my muscles. (Am I the only one that does this?)
She was adamant with this and insisted an "all hot water" is still the best. Well, I can't argue preferences 😁.
Since she has this perspective, I asked which do you use often when you want to do an hair wash, HOT WATER or COLD WATER?
Guess what she chose? 😁
Now my friend try to understand me, I am not against hot water hair wash in fact, I encourage it when it is necessary.
Effect of hot water:
- it washes off the natural oil present in the scalp. This leads to dryness and eventually dandruff.
- it leads to weak hair which eventually breaks off easily
Usefulness of hot water
- in cases of excessive product buildup, it is the best option to use along side shampooing
- it helps to open up pores

A little bit of reminiscing that emotional intelligence is a critical skill required to be an hairstylist. You could make the finest hair in the world and still have some of these disadvantages:
- tight hands
- itchy hands
- poor hair care knowledge
- poor communication
- wrong use of products
- low Social Quotient
- low Emotional Quotient
- poor marketing skill
- poor photography skill
- poor captioning
I could rescue you once you're guilty of these charges 😉.
I think our clients deserves the best service either from me or from you.

Happy New year to all fams
2022, I had the best clients show up at the salon. We had so many challenges to resolve as an hair doctor and as a salon owner. Surprisingly, we couldn't resolve all but we definitely have an headway and it looks brighter and God has been faithful in the provision of adequate knowledge and wisdom to overcome.

Why men's feet should be pampered...
This particular client told me about how much sleep is uncomfortable and he quite sweaty by the way. He said he does not feel air on his feet.
