Ignorance is a choice in the internet age.

Need an answer? Google it.

Got a question? Send a Twitter DM.

Don't know how to do something? Youtube it.

The solutions to your problems are at your fingertips.

5) Create a high-value network.

Evolution designed humans to get along with each other for survival.

Which means you'll adopt the traits, habits, and mindset of those around you.

Reduce time with people who hold you back.

Increase time with those who can pull you forward.

6) Take care of yourself.

Hustle culture told us the path to success involved all work and no rest.

But that's the path to burnout, mediocrety, and regre.

Take care of your body with exercise.

Take care of your mind with sleep.

Take care of your spirit with meditation.

7) Read quality books.

Books have a high ROI.

You get decades of knowledge condensed in a few hours of reading.

The time, money, and mistakes you save yourself are well worth the investment.

Make it a daily habit and you'll get the yearly returns.

The greatest skill one can develop is decreasing the time between idea and ex*****on.

If you don't know how to do something, the only way you can learn how to do it is by doing it.

One step, then the next.

If you are lost, the answer is education.

If you are educated, the answer is action.

If you are acting, the answer is consistency.

You're allowed to start over. Skills are transferable.

Kinda crazy how you can watch a few Youtube videos and outearn someone that has a 12 year degree.

Community Management for Social Media:

1. Determine where your audience lives.

Instagram. TikTok. Facebook. LinkedIn. Triller. And the list goes on.

With so many social media platforms available to consumers, it's important for community managers to identify where their target audience is most active.

For instance, if you're targeting young adults, you may focus your efforts on TikTok and Instagram, which caters to a younger demographic.

The idea is that you want to prioritize the social platforms that will reach the most users and generate the most engagement.

Otherwise, you risk speaking into an empty room, wasting time and resources.

2. Define metrics to track your progress.

As a community manager, it may be unclear how to measure your success. Particularly because it's a relatively new industry.

However, there are many ways to gauge your progress.

You can look at engagement, social mentions, and brand sentiment.

Engagement may look different from one platform to the next. However, likes, comments, shares, and replies are standard metrics to track.

You may also want to track how often your brand is mentioned and how that changes over time. That can suggest how far your brand is reaching. There's also qualitative data you can measure.

3. Monitor the conversations surrounding your business.

Social monitoring and listening are key parts of your community management strategy.

It helps you stay connected to your audience, figure out what resonates with them, and brainstorm content ideas.

For instance, say your clothing company hires a community manager. While monitoring conversations surrounding their brand, they realize that there is a lot of mention of your brand's sustainability efforts, something that hasn't been a key part of your messaging.

This discovery can inform future marketing efforts and help you generate even more interest in your brand.

4. Constantly engage your audience.

Building a community requires two-way engagement.

It's not enough to simply publish content, you also have to be reactive to your audience. This can look like:

— Leveraging user-generated content.

— Responding to comments, whether they're questions, concerns, praise, or something else.

— Creating polls and surveys.

The more visible and engaging you are with your audience, the more trust you will build and from there will flourish a community.

If you feel stressed, then take a hot shower, long walk or get a good night's sleep.

This will solve 99% of your problems.

Avoiding sensationalized news is self-care.

Stop regretting past decisions.

You made the best choice at the time, with the knowledge you had. Be at peace with it.

Psychology says, the way you talk about others is the way you talk to yourself.

If you're comparing yourself to others, then stop.

Trust me: they have their issues you'd never want.

Only compare yourself to your former self.

If you purchase one item, then donate, toss, or sell another.

Minimalism is a dual discipline:

Manage both inbound and outbound possessions to enjoy equilibrium.

Study human behaviour, storytelling, marketing, big ideas, biological problems, and yourself.

Grabbing and holding attention is the skill of all skills.

Try everything until you find the intersections of purpose, profitability, and personality.

With the infinite potential of the internet, you can make a living doing almost everything you want.

It is your job to take small risks, stack a few small wins, and the momentum snowball into a future you are proud of.

This all starts with curiosity. Without curiosity, there is no possibility. No potential.

Dove into your interests. Learn like crazy with free resources online. Ditch the mindless scrolling and self-deprecating memes.

The future belongs to those who value self-education, personal responsibility, self-discipline, and neverending curiosity.

Nobody is coming to save you. Not the government. Nobody. You must take life into your own hands.

Self-educate online. Take responsibility for the things you can control. Discipline yourself so you don't end up like the rest.

Realising that you are in control of the outcome of your life is liberating, but again, it does happen without pursuing your curiosity.

Curiosity creates possibility. Possibility implies that achieving it is possible. Start building now.

Pain from the pursuit of pleasure becomes inescapable given Time.

The modern world is great at keeping you mentally enslaved through cheap dopamine hits.

Content is getting quicker and snappier. It catches your attention and makes you feel like you accomplished something. Only leading to long term pain.

When you are disciplined, you start to rewire your brain. You crave the next challenge ahead.

You are forced to learn and acquire skills to keep up with the challenge. It becomes addictive. This is how it should be.
