In the past 6 years, there have been more than 200 reported cases of ritual killings of young women, mostly in their early to late 20s. I contend that these numbers are conservative because the murders are grossly under reported.

Many of them have been through s*xual transactions with complete strangers or those they were in a relationship with.

A few years ago, there was a serial killer who murdered over 7 young women after luring them to hotels for s*x.

It is now almost a daily occurrence to see bodies of mutilated females dumped by the roadside.

I'm afraid, with the glamorisation of prostitution, hookup culture and young women's infatuation with unmerited wealth and highlife, these sorts of unfortunate incidents would continue to increase.

Saida Boj and her cotravellers must be reined in on. These lots are destroying young women and exposing them to unimaginable horrors.

It is extremely too easy to bait them with flashy cars and other perks of wealth. It is so tempting—spend the night with a complete stranger and make 500k or work 30 days and earn 50k? Quite a nobrainer.

While it is the responsibility of the government to prevent such wanton deaths, the responsibility is everyone to be more circumspect in their dealings. Shun illegitimate wealth. Hardwork remains the surest route to a blissful life.
