I paid condolences visit to the house of Late HRM Oba Alade Buhari Oloto, Oba of Iguru land, who died after a brief illness on Thursday 29 July 2021, at his palace in Aguda.

He commiserated with his wife, Alhaja Oloto, friends, family and Itire Chieftaincy family.

He was an influential man, a father and a rallying point for Itire chieftaincy family and residents.

Itire is an ancient city and people always connect to baba Olori-Ebi as he was fondly called.

May the Lord almighty give him eternal rest and bless the family left behind.

I advised residents to plant trees at the Annual Tree Planting Day on Wednesday 14 July 2021 at Igbo Owu Primary Healthcare Centre, Mushin.

I addressed the gathering on annual tree planting day and informed them about the importance of planting trees in the community.

This action started since 2008 to inculcate the habit of planting trees in our environment to avoid deforestation and desertification.

Trees are beneficial to man and the environment. It helps to provide oxygen which is useful for man and reduce ozone layer depletion or climate change.

I advised residents to continue to plant trees and desist from burning of trees, dumping of refuse in drains, and other offensive environmental habits.

Trees were planted at Igbo Owu Primary Healthcare Centre and environs.
