Imagine coca cola still spending billions of dollars yearly on brand promotion.

Even though they are well-known worldwide.

It means the only option to remain in business among other strategies is to keep being in the face of your customers and potential customers.

If not they will forget you for competing brand

If you want to know if the company is advertising or not,

Google the name, products, etc, or something related

Come back to Facebook/Instagram and do some scrolling to confirm.

Chances are if they do you will see their ads or related products or brand

In one of my Digital Marketing Classes I said;

Without marketing, there is no business.

Do we all agree?

If you do then how come you claim to be in business without a specific and reasonable budget for marketing?

If you are guilty of that offense, raise your hands.

Even though I knew 99% of the participants are guilty of that

And I said, not anymore.

When you are building the future starting from nothing surrounded by those who do not believe in the future you are building.

You should be ready to take lots of insults and pain through the attitude of such people.

But use it to fuel your plan by ignoring them.

That's not even the worst.

When the future arrives, the same people who do not believe in the future when you are building it will still cost you pain by calling you names and claiming they are entitled to a portion of that future.

Maybe, just because you fuel it with their insult 🤣

So, to also make that moment worth your effort, you have to ignore their insult, do your best for them, and leave the rest

She lamented to me that she has spent so much in search of jobs but yet no good paying job for over 8 years.

I told her there are aspiring entrepreneur around the world in thousands which I am part of them who have spends times thousands if not millions she has spent but yet they have not achieved their personal or the business desired.

After the session I realised her case is not different from others who think it is hard to get lucrative jobs.

Haven't you meet people who wants something from you but expects you to ask them

Or think you should know they will need it without asking.

This kind of person expects you to assume and pay the price while they enjoy the prize.

But when you use your power of assumption in the direction that suits you, they complain and treat you as an enemy even though you may have their best interest at heart.

That's the same way, people live their life.

They asked nothing from the universe. They assumed she should know what they want.

When life offers them little to nothing because they asked for nothing

Some remain nonchalant while others became angry and go negative.

The universe takes that up.

For those who remain nonchalant, it is assumed they are satisfied with the option, so things remain that way and may likely go worst as they grow in life.

As for those who fume around with so much negativity, life assumed that is what they want instead of what she offers them, things go from little to nothing to worst.

The more they keep going negative, the worst things become for them just because the universe assumed they want more of it.

Until they change their attitude to communicate to life that they don't want that anymore, rather they want something else.

If the change is from negativity to doing nothing, they still remain the same and later the situation will gradually deteriorate.

Until they go positive. Which is absolutely a change of pattern that is clearly understood by the universe

Gradually, they started getting what they asked for

But the need for consistency that can be interpreted to speaking louder is needed since there could be noise within your communication channel.

Ask for whatever you want from life, it cost nothing but it is the first price to pay to win the prize life have for you.

The prize most times will never come directly just because you ask

It will come in form of activities you will need that will take you to where the prize is.

Believe me, there is no such thing as something for nothing

Which machinery (asset) do you have that is minting money (generating cashflow) for you everyday.

Before you start thinking by asset it must be physical and require you to break the bank to have one, please listen to me

Think in terms of digital or intellectual assets that will not require huge financial resources.

There are times you need to save time. Except that, running sprint where you are supposed to walk is paying for your unhealthiness.

I don't doubt the fact that learning works like compound interest that yields astronomic result over years.

If you want to make this work, deliberately learn something every day.

As useful as digital devices are, they could work to your disadvantage.

Many of us read every day but not purposely to learn.

Do you know that many people on social media only came to read?

Getting to their timeline, you may think they are not existing but they are, only that they never share anything.

That is not bad in itself, but who they follow and what they read on social media spending hours every day is what matters.

Be intentional, follow people who teach you something almost every day, and do away from people who corrupt your thoughts.

Stop complaining if you always love to be at the receiving end.

When it comes to love, he or she doesn't love you. Do you show and give love too?

You always love complements but too important to give one.

You need a job, never interested in creating one. Is none of your business.

When you get the job, your sole interest is what you can gain rather than what to put in to improve the company.

The way up is never through your selfish attitudes. Make a new turn.

Compete on purpose and not on ego

You have a choice, give them a reason to smile, and help them achieve their goal by giving up.

Alternatively, give them more work and increase their blood pressure by not giving up

The challenge with lots of people is the inability to see the big picture of what they are doing or about to do.

They can't visualize beyond the beginning, their locality and or present predicament.

This challenge is created from diverse sources among which are;

✅ Lack of exposure.
✅ Ignorance
✅ Impatience
✅ Mediocrity
✅ Inability to use mind power
✅ Lack of interest in learning
✅ I know it all

For you to understand this issue clearly, let me give you a practical example.

On the last point, it means VTU business could be an investment targeted at a particular project.

That is even if you will still be willing to sell as a result of the nonstop cash flow which will be enough to finance the project.

This is just 1 out of numerous examples I'll share with you in respect of seeing the big picture ahead when you are starting small.

Then, I think the best way to go is to eradicate the higher naira notes denominations that we spent billions of naira to change in the first place.

In other words, smaller denominations of naira note: N100, N50, N20, N10, and N5 should be in circulation.

This will not only serve the 2 purposes mentioned above but also discourage;

✅ Counterfeit currency in the economy.
✅ Money laundering
✅ Bribery and Corruption.

Let's think positively together, what other benefits in our context do you think adopting the cashless policy will bring to us?

Even though I may not be that opportune to again global economic and business training.

The little I can gain locally coupled with common economic and financial sense has taught me that

If truly we are working towards a cashless society and most importantly to control money laundry, bribery, and corruption

Redesigning higher denomination currency is a waste of resources.

Since cash will still be needed for petty transactions, higher naira denominations should be eradicated, and let the lower denomination be in circulation.

It seems we love to be forced to do things.

The cashless policy has been in existence for some years now

And the fact that CBN has licenced several categories of operators to encourage inclusion.

Should encouraged our engagement to make the movement easy.

But unfortunately, just as we love to be forced, we as well love condemnation and negative criticisms.

Could it be that we are ignorant of the benefits of the cashless society.

If nothing, think about security. Before you complain about scamming, let me bring it to your notice that majority happened as a result of negligence and greediness which can be eradicated with education (learning).

But my people will rather watch comedy skate than learning how to protect themselves and their resources.

Oh! Your excuse is our technological challenges.

I don't think their is perfection anywhere even in the develop nations.

What we may be using now might be what they've use years back. That's an indication that they also improve on their deficiency to reach where they are today.

And you can testify to it that their is great and rapid improvement in the system.

The only way we can further encourage improvement is to adopt the policy. That way, they won't have option than to improve if they want to compete profitably.

I know we deserve more from our government but you should also think of how you withheld the support require from you to make it work

On stepping out of my office, I saw a girl with her face buried on her smartphone while walking.

A bad and dangerous habit you said.

Yes! But I am even thinking beyond that.

I wish I can go after her to ask what she is engaging in that is so serious she can't wait till she get to a sitting position.

I wish it even something serious and meaningful she is doing that took that much attention.

As if that is not enough. Before leaving the office, my wife called to get some stuff on my way back.

Getting to the shop, the attendant was giggling with her face buried on her phone that she wasn't aware for more than 2 minutes of my standing and observing her until a man came in to interrupt her saying.

"I am back, now tell me who you are smiling with on that phone that took your attention that much" which correlate my observation

This is a common issue today that get me worried.

👉 In the process put yourself in health danger (brain and eyes) for excessive use.
