Today marks the 10th anniversary of the global celebration of the International Day of a Girl Child.

Leo District 404B1 in conjuction with Region 4, Region 5, ICT Diamond Leo Club,Ota Doyen Leo Club and Lagos Legend Leo Club, celebrated this day in grand style in a power packed event that put smiles on the faces of the female students of Methodist High School, Arigbajo, Ogun State.

Malala Yousafzai once said that *"There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a third power stronger than both, that of women."*

Today, young girls were educated to wield this power in order to make a lasting impact on the world at large.

Along with the District President, Leo Christianah I. Nwokoro 100%P MGA LAH, representatives from Abeokuta Unique Leo Club, ICT Diamond Leo Club, Ota Doyen Leo Club, Mapoly Leo Club, Ilaro Orona Leo Club, Ife Oye Integrity Leo Club,Ota Diamond Leo club,The Polytechnic Ibadan Leo Club,Oou Ibogun Leo Club,Egbeda Leo Club were also present to make the event a successful one.
