Hurray!!! Its a new year, a new season and a new beginning. From Dayton Model Schools, we wish all our pupils and their parents a happy 2021.

It is my earnest desire that this year work for our good.

In the spirit of the season, Dayton Model schools had her end of year Christmas party and it was a glorious outing.

Hurray DMS family, i said it on this platform at the beginning of this pandemic that this too shall pass and it's passing.

Life is beginning to return to normal and we are heaving a sigh of relief.

I'm sure we will not return the way we left. A few pounds gained here and there, new skills acquired and new modes of life style being practiced.

But in all of this one thing is certain we are all back ready to face life squarely.
We have learnt our lessons and are willing to forge ahead with life.

For our kids, its a new dawn! Friends they bounded with before now will be made to stay clear all for the fear of COVID.

Like i said in my intro, this too will pass.

Lets keep staying safe. Its a new dawn!

Dear parents, our skill, temperament, comportment and dedication as parents are tested at a time like this.

We are however aware of the challenges you face as parents during this period where the children have limited space to play, socialize and even learn ethical skills .

Another challenging aspect is parents struggling their phones with their kids who are constantly on line doing their online learning and assignments.

We appreciate all your efforts at ensuring that the kids remain on top of their game.

This situation is not however a totally bad one as it has afforded most of us the opportunity to get to know our kids and spouses and correct some abnormalies in our homes as well as deepen the bonds bewteen us.

We are quite sure that we are coming out stronger and better at the end of the day.

If there is any lesson we should take from this period it's the fact that family comes first in all we do.

Not our friends we hang out with, nor our colleagues , nor our church members but family, because at the end it boils down to family.

If family has not mean much to us before now, now is the time to give our all to our family.

The rain and flood may sweep most of our friends we think are closer than relatives to us, but it's only family that can stand the test of time.

I celebrate all our families in Dayton Model School and I say keep believing in your families. We are coming out stronger and better!

Dear parents, in view of the lockdown order, DMS shall commence her on line classes tomorrow for her pupils.
To achieve this goal, WhatsApp groups have been created for each class.
Do well to get on the platform and keep your children busy from tomorrow from 8:00 am.

This is real and the Corona virus is in our midst.

The Management of Dayton Model Schools call on all her pupils and parents to observe the regulations as it has to do with staying safe.

Wash your hands as often as you can and stay away from crowded places. Cough into your elbows and clean surfaces often.

Avoid putting your fingers in your eyes, mouth and nose.

It pays to stay alive.

We love you and wish you a sickness free stay at home period.

The Management of Dayton Model School wishes to inform all DMS mothers that the mothers day outing scheduled to take place on the 28th of March, 2020 is been put on hold.

This is due to the ongoing CoronaVirus scare in the country. A new date will be announced by the organizers in due course.

True to the Motto of the school, 'Excellence" these pupils over the weekend represented the school in an external competition, "Royal Mathematics"and two of our own out of the over two thousand (2000) participants emerged in the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

February 22 was legit as we had six houses slugging it amongst themselves. At the end of the competition, Pearl house emerged over all winners, third time back to back.
