Most people don't want to accept this, but real relationships that last involve a lot of forgiveness. You have to accept the fact that your partner is not perfect and will hurt you, disappoint you, and upset you at some point in time.

So before going into a relationship, you have to make up your mind and be ready to go through the ups and downs with your partner hence, relationship should be a no-go area for you.

Management of the home is the greatest test of a man's leadership. A man who failed to manage his home is a failed leader, no matter how good you are in other aspects of your life.

The reason a man is called a father is to provide. The word father is from the Hebrew word Abba, which means, source and sustainer. It is your duty as a man to source and sustain your family.

So, my dear men, be a responsible man, by providing for your family... Because It's your duty to bond your home together, that's why you are called a husband.

Let your family be your priority before every other thing you are doing should follow. Don't let your family be a mess while you are making an impact in your business or your working place... If you do so, you're already a failure as a man.

HOW TO KEEP A RELATIONSHIP

Communicate; talk about things, the good and the bad, andmost importantly how the relationship will be like in thefuture. Be honest, be faithful, be there for each other during good times and bad. Make out time for one another, leave the past to the past, including your ex's.

Know that having arguments are normal, and also know that you won't be happy all the time. Remember, change is a gradual process, so don't expect someone to change overnight. Accept each other shortcomings, don't blame your partner for your mistakes, and work hard to be the perfect match for each other. Appreciate each other no matter how small it is.

Go out on adate, send love text no matter how long you have been together, buy gifts for each other if you can. And lastly, be best friends, and love each other unconditionally.

Closeness Does Not Make It Works

I have seen two persons sat on the same seat row in a bus and quarrelled all through their journey. The Same happens in relationships. Two people can mistakenly believe they are in the right relationship whereas everything about the relationship is wrong.

People who meet every day and dine together can still have the worse kind of relationship and not be sensible to their wrong choices of being with each other.

That you have someone who is always with you does not mean that the person is making unusual sacrifices. The wrong person can take the biggest space in your life. Such does not lead you forward. It is as same as taking another route back to the years you have left behind.

Know people by their attitude and not by their closeness to you. Never surrender yourself to closeness. Surrender yourself to the right person. Measure people by the standard of their impact on your life.

Someone who inspires you to grow in faith and purpose is not in the same value as someone who buys you things and yet, you are not happy being around him.

Someone can give you gifts you cannot afford for yourself and yet not be the right person for you. It is not about things. It is about values. Most times, gifts take you back into things God would never want to see you into. Things that will end you in pains.

Most people who nearly shipwrecked my destiny got too close that I almost thought that they are the right persons.

A few years back, there was this lady I love so much, as in, I was so emotionally attached, she was so close to me, in fact, we were like a twin. Then I think she's the right one for me, never did I know, she was just there for what she was getting from me. It came to my notice, when I was in a challenging period of my life, then she was nowhere to be found. That was when I knew she was just there because of what she was getting from me.

You need to ask yourself often, “What is this relationship making me become? ” Lot of people don't know that the thing that has caused their failures and pains is the same relationship they have trusted their entire life into.

I have seen a relationship where the lady had a guy who comes every morning to drive her to work, brought her back home in the evening for over a year and yet, two months after their wedding, she lost an eye from his beating and finally, she said, “I was so blind not to know that I let in the father of devil himself into my life.”

How often do you spend time praying for the relationship you are into? You need to make time for your relationship.
