MAST. TEHILAH IBITAMUNO EPELLE GOES TO CHURCH.

The churching of Mrs. Mary T. Epelle and Baptism of Mast. Tehilah Ibitamuno Epelle took place souls (Ang) Church Osu-ogu Abuloma Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Churching of Woman is a special Ceremony and thanksgiving Service given to a woman after Child Birth. It signified that a woman shall present her baby into the church wherein God's blessings is being released upon her after recovery from childbirth.
Hence, the ceremony includes thanksgiving for the survival of the Woman from childbirth, with prayers for the protection of the Child.

It's also a period where the child is being dedicated to God both physically and spiritually. During this period the child is giving out to his/her spiritual parents inorder to assist the parent physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Rt. Rev. Enoch Atuboyedia JP. Bishop, Diocese of Okrika - Church of Nigeria: Anglican Communion performed a Christian sacrament marked by a ritual use of water and admission of Mast. TEHILAH IBITAMUNO EPELLE into the Christian community and churching of Mrs Mary T. Epelle.

Family members, friends, parishioners and love ones of Rev. & Mrs. Tamunotonye Alfred Beke Epelle happily danced to the alter for prayers and thanksgiving. Prayers of thanksgiving, God's blessings, protection and guidance upon the family and the baby was said by Bishop Enoch.

TRADITIONAL & VARIETY DAY BY THE Diocese of Okrika - Church of Nigeria: Anglican Communion

Traditional attire, garment, jewelry and custom accessories rooted in the past which expresses a national identity with a specific religion or tribe was won by the DIOCESE OF OKRIKA (ANGLICAN COMMUNION) during her variety day and communual hymn singing, in bid of her 20th Anniversary celebration, @ Holy Trinity Anglican Church Okuru-ama Deanery. On Saturday 21st October 2023.

His lordship Rt Rev Enoch Atuboyedia JP. Bishop, Diocese of Okrika, reminded brethren that history has indicated that the social, marital and regions scope of the Wakirike people is attached to singing and dancing. Hence, he urges congregants to praise God in the beauty of his holiness, through hymn singing, dancing and worship.
He finally thanked all for coming out massively in honour of this call of gratitude.

Sir. Hon. Justice Sika Aprioku, chancellor and chairman of the 20th Anniversary committee; reviews that the number 20 has a mystical significance of personal growth and progress. He went further to say that celebrating 20years as a diocese through hymn singing and dancing to God Almighty is well commendable because it's achievement and success will serve as historical facts in time memorial.

Basic highlights of the events deals with stage performances by various arm's of the church suchlike; CMF, MU/WG, AYF, LLM, CHOIR, G.G and B.B. The Mother's Union/Women's Guild (MU/WG) took first position, followed by the Anglican Youth fellowship (AYF) and Christian Men's Fellowship (CMF).

The secret of happiness is variety, but the secret of variety is like a spice of life that gives it all in flavour.
The best way to keep good act in memory is to refresh them with new ideas. Congratulations 👏👏🎉🎉 to the Diocese of Okrika for putting all of this together.

A press briefing on the he State of Affairs in Rivers State by THE IJAW NATIONAL CONGRESS EASTERN ZONE BY CHIEF IBIOSIYA NATH-SUKUBO ZONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY/SPOKESMAN ON 7TH NOVEMBER 2023 AT THE ZONAL HEADQUARTERS ABULOMA

We the Ijaw National Congress Eastern Zone state, an apex Ijaw organisation where a huge section of Rivers State also belong, state with equanimity that the continued meddling of affairs in governance by the former governor Chief. Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has further exacerbated opprobrium and amounting to negative effect in the state. We also dissociate ourselves from the gregarious elders and found it egregious on taking sides with a party against a sitting governor who has come to instill proficiency as against profligacy in the state.

The lack of smooth transition and continuity is taking diminutive toll of the state, hence numerous projects are abandoned. If the current governor decides to rejuvenate moribund projects he becomes an enemy to a malignant emperor who wants the state as his estate is totally unacceptable. This is a fight for justice and goes beyond ethnic colouration. We are therefore calling on the elders who had proclaimed support for Wike instead of the dispensation of justice to thread with caution before the youths engulf them like hurricane. When an elder exposes his sc***um in public children will play with it thinking it like football. We stand with Sir Siminalayi Fubara , as governor, we also stand with Wike as Minister. Both should be allowed to exercise their duties in their various jurisdiction without interference.

Enough of these political machiavelism and psado-masochism. Its high time the siege is over and let loose the puppet string in Rivers State. Wike should let Sim breath and exercise his political and administrative dexterity without interference. The former governor as we know him will never accept such, not even from HE Goodluck Jonathan or his wife Mrs. Patience Jonathan who was instrumental to his political ascension as Minister of the Federal Republic and governor of Rivers State. The former governor’s utterance since the political imbroglio in the state has been cheer loquacious and grandiloquence with an amalgam of arrogance. That you made a governor for your egomaniacal interest is laughable. Others made you too but you fought them at the end. Sim served you so diligently and suffered all forms of humiliations from anti-graft agencies just to satisfy your selfish and egoistic political priapism, this smacks of ingratitude.

Enough is enough let Sim breath do not suffocate him. Our elders, let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an overflowing stream. We are also calling of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to call Ex governor Wike to order and check his excesses.

HARVEST OF SOUL WINNING "Anglican Church of the Advent"

The Anglican Church of the Advent, sandfield Ogu "Center of his presence" successfully hosted her Annual Adult Harvest thanksgiving service and Confirmation with the theme "And the lord increase his people greatly", psalm 105:24

His lordship Rt. Rev. Enoch Atuboyedia JP Bishop, Diocese of Okrika, during the harvest proper also carried-out a confirmation of twenty-six (26) candidates. Confirmation served as a sacrament of maturity, which represents a deepening and strengthening of the Christian life through prayers and laying of hands by the bishop. It's indeed a thing of Joy that souls were won and converter to Christ Jesus.
This year 2023, the Anglican Church of the Advent, has successfully recorded two confirmation session, the first took place during the Episcopal visit of Bishop Enoch with thirty-eight (38) confirmed members and now twenty-six (26) members given us a total of 68 communicant. What a glorious Harvest unto the lord.

This is a sign that the Advent church is waxing strongly in quest for soul winning and revival. We pray that the hand of the Lord will continue to rest on God's servant Rev. ThankGod Israel and his team.

Kudos to the planning committee headed by Mrs. Folake Walter, CWC and God's servant Rev. ThankGod Israel for masterminding the success of this event.

THE TOTALITY ATTRIBUTES OF GOD IS HOLINESS "Dr. Steve Ogan"

Holiness is the totality of the conduct and character of God. This was a message delivered by a renounce international preacher of God's word Rev. Dr. Steve Ogan to christians in the global communities, during her 20th annual Diocesan Mega Conference and Crusade powered by the Sunday school ministry of Diocese of Okrika.

Perfecting Holiness in the fear of God, has to do with a complete pragmatic steps of God's word, with reference to 2nd Corinthians 6:14.
Dr. Steve Centered his teachings on the three various points to ponder while perfecting Holiness in God's direction.
1. That their is no fellowship between righteousness and lawless
2. No communion between light and darkness.
(1st John 1:6).
3. No Accord between Christ and balam (1st kings 17:1).

He went further to outline some of the precent principal of perfecting Holiness, which includes
1. Come out from amongst them. (Rev. 18:4) He call on the Christian communittes to cut down any relationship that will not glorify God in their life.
2. Delete unclean things: He encourages brethren to delete any activities or gathering that will reduce the standard of God in your life.
3. Separation from Spirituality: This implies that our God is a spirit and all those that must worship him will do that with truth, he urged believers to abstain from the worldly desires by living a separated kingdom lifestyle.
4. Beware of evil workers, which includes false teachers, false prophets, decievers of the brethren, liars and rumor mongers.

Restoration is the only part way to reactivate holiness in perfection. He summarizes is teaching by leading Christians who have missed their steps into Christ.
Eternal life is the qualitative life of God, it's a life without limitations, a life filled with enjoyment and relaxation. A life that is without end.
