PHCN hasn't brought light for more than two weeks now in my area, it's been difficult to sew or iron. They finally remembered us last night, so light was on till this morning.

This morning, I was setting up to iron some dresses I've sewn and also setting up my ringlights so I can do some videos for the new month and upcoming sales☺️☺️☺️, before I could finish setting my ringlights....

STOP REGISTERING FOR MULTIPLE CLASSES, PRACTICE THE ONE YOU’VE LEARNT FIRST😒

Sometime in 2021 when corset started trending, I registered for multiple online courses, yes multiple like 3 different courses on corset.

Did I sew any corset then? Yes I did, I made like 3 but I never did a proper corset top with bonnings and structure like this one. So I kept on registering for these classes cause I felt like I’ve not learnt enough🙄.

So fast forward to this year, I bought this Ankara fabric to sew a gown, I did but it didn’t come out the way I expected so I tossed it aside with the plan to sew something else.

And then it hit me, I need to make a proper corset top cause to be fair, I’ve been avoiding making one. In my head, it’s stressful and I don’t have the time for that😒.

But I just remembered all the courses I’ve registered for corset and I finally womaned up to sew it. And this is the result🥰🥰

SOME OF THE ISSUE OF WHAT I ORDERED VERSUS WHAT I GOT🙄

Most times when people post what they ordered and what they got from their tailor, you'll see that the what I got, there is always something off about them🥺, now my concentration today is not on if the tailor did bad or not, I'm going somewhere.

Some of the dresses celebrities put on that you admire so much, if they give you to wear you'll reject it o, but because they've enhanced the dress with good hairs, accessories, bags and shoes, the look is now giving in your eyes😂, it's giving luxury, this is why you can screenshot it.

But if your tailor sews same design for you, you will now want to rock it with your all back weaving and still look as good as the one you screenshoted.

I've also had same experience where I sew a particular dress, it was giving maid vibes at first I was like na I can't wear this cloth o, but when I applied little makeup,had on my wig, plus bag and shoes, the look changed. I was now shouting wow wow wow like ambulance 😂.

Accessories is very important when you're dressing up, very important, invest on hairs, shoes, earrings and the rest, something that can help enhance your look in that dress.

Some people will see this post and be like I never see grocery to chop na hair I go come buy, you can start from somewhere, you can buy one earring and bangle every month and it won't hurt your bank account, it doesn't have to be expensive, you can always start with the ones you can afford for now.
