If someone asked you who Muhammad was, how would you respond?

Muhammed (PBUH) was the seal of the prophets, and the man who changed the course of history. He led humanity to the right path of enlightenment. Before his coming, People used to worship anything. In his community, people made their own idols and worshipped them instead of worshipping the Almighty.

He was not a great businessman, but he was an honest and trustworthy one. Khadija, one of the greatest merchants of Mecca, trusted him. He became her trade partner before becoming her husband. He inherited considerable wealth from her and died while his (iron) armor was mortgaged to a Jew for thirty pounds of barley.

He was not a great military tactician but he was a great leader and a good listener. When the news of the gathering of the allies or confederates (ahzab) against him, and the strength of their desire to fight against him, he consulted his companions, as he always used to do. It was their unanimous view that they should remain in Madina and fight from there. Salman al-Farisi suggested to God's Messenger that they should dig a trench around Madina, and so they did.

He was treated badly by his people; they fought him, abused him and his followers, and obliged them to migrate their hometown, and when he had the power over them and his army entered Mecca without bloodshed, he said: “You may go free! No reproach this day shall be on you; may Allah forgive you.”

He was a peace promoter; he agreed on the terms of Al-Hudaibiya treaty although its fifth term was a clear humiliation to Muslims. It said:

If anyone from Quraysh goes to Madina without the consent of the party, he would be returned, but a Muslim coming to Makkah from Madina will not be returned.
