HER Tomorrow Foundation

To reach every corner in Nigeria and allow the girl child live to her full potential.

07/04/2024

Join our Instagram Live on the 20th of April, 2024 at 5:00PM WAT for an eye opening conversation on s*x education.

It is very important for every teenager to join this live as we will be covering the nitty-gritty of s*x education that the society shy away from.

Parents and guardians should also encourage their wards to join this discussion.

At Her Tomorrow Foundation, we are committed towards empowering teenagers (particularly the girl child) through proper mentoring and education.

It’s almost that time of the year again.

Tobi Amusan is a Nigerian track and field athlete who specialises in the 100 metres hurdles and also competes as a sprinter. She recently became Nigeria’s first ever world champion and a world record holder in athletics.
In her recent interview with BBC, she talked about almost quitting athletics after been left out of a women’s relay team in 2013. However she switched to hurdles event as advised by some of her coaches and she triumphed. She later got a scholarship to the United States where her athletics career truly began.

A very important lesson from Tobi’s story is PERSEVERANCE.
She didn’t give up...

Drug Abuse has always been a problem. Teenagers mostly use drugs to feel among or look cool...
Some are unfortunately influenced by what they see their parents do.
How can we help the future generation escape substance abuse, what solutions do you suggest?

Have you ever abused drugs, how did you get clean?
Do you mind sharing your story with us?
It might inspire someone to quit today.

Educational Tuesday
Let’s talk about self esteem, have you ever struggled with low self esteem?
How did you overcome it?

04/07/2022

Everyone has one thing they are insecure about but the best of them convert these insecurities into motivations. Accept your flaws and make lemonade out of it.

Do not be oppressed by naysayers, stand tall and go for it.

It doesn’t matter what your insecurity is, STOP LETTING IT HOLD YOU BACK!!!

Today’s topic is TEENAGE PROSTITUTION. It is no news that prostitution has become very popular among youths today. In the above slides we shared major causes and a few solutions to curb teen prostitution. Share your thoughts in the comment section.
What other measures can be taken to prevent teenage prostitution in Nigeria?

22/06/2022

Today’s is ASISAT OSHOALA
A professional footballer.

Football was initially just a recreational activity for her. However while waiting to get admission into the university, a coach picked interest in her (due to her outstanding performance in a local football game) and convinced her parent to allow her start football training.
ASISAT later moved to Port Harcourt where she started playing professionally in 2012.

Today, she plays as a striker for FC Barcelona and captains the Nigerian women’s national team.

Lessons From Her;
- Hard work pays
- Your family may not support what you do now, but your dedication and hard work can change their mind.

Teenage pregnancy (although statistics shows it has reduced by 4% between 2013 and 2018) is still a major source of concern in Nigeria.

Teen mothers and pregnant teenagers suffer from stigmatization that affect their mental health and self esteem, leading to zero or minimal self actualization. Some teenagers even commit su***de or fall deeper into promiscuity and other behavioral misconduct.

Because, what more do they have to loose right.....?

Their condition may or may not have been self caused, however it is important to reduce its prevalence in our nation.

Listed above are causes and possible solutions to teenage pregnancy.
