Happy New Month. We are two months away from a new year. That business idea that you had in January but didn't act upon would have moved a step by now. Jim Rohn said "Act while your idea is still hot or you will waste your wisdom". John C Maxwell even said it better when he emphasized that Ideas have a short shelf life. One must act upon them before their expiration date.

Many today don't act on their ideas because they think their ideas are too big or their capacity is too small or simply because the people they are found with discourage them then sooner than later do they see someone else with similar ideas act and all they remain with is saying I also planned to do something similar. That is why it is important to watch your company. As Elenor Roosevelt said "Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events and small minds discuss people." Such people can't see beyond their present moments because they have no dreams and so discussing such things with them doesn't make sense.

Many people with ideas delay to act giving an excuse of not having capital. Do you think that that idea will wait for you to have that huge capital? No life doesn't and will never waste opportunities on the unprepared, it passes the opportunity to the next prepared person. The mistake most people make is that when they have the big idea and calculate the amount needed to bring it to work and find that it's huge they get discouraged and don't start. Alfred whitehead said " Ideas won't keep.Something must be done about them." How can you start with what you don't have? It's ok to have big ideas but you have to sit down and strategise. Break down your goals into short term and long term. Your short term goals will come from what you have and they will build up to the long-term goals. Rome wasn't built in day but everyday a block was laid.

Many talk about how they would want to start a business but that their major challenge is capital. What I've come to realize however is that most people don't actually start not because they don't have capital but because they want to start with more than what they actually have. I believe everyone and I mean everyone has whatever they need to move to the next stage if their life but we focus more on what we don't have.

The multi billion companies we have today google, Facebook, Amazon etc also started small. They took baby steps and focused only on the step ahead of them and not the whole staircase. Once investors saw the commitment and zeal of these people they decided to sacrifice their dollars to help build these companies. As Napoleon Hill said "Start where you stand, and work whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along."

What are you doing about your idea? You want to build yet you have failed to even buy a block to show your seriousness yet you want an investor to come help you. The only thing you are focusing your energy on is complaining so you want the investor to invest in your complaints or what?

Stop wasting time like you will live 1000 years. You have a legacy to build. Sam Altman said "Move fast. Speed is one of your main advantages over large competitors." Napoleon Hill was definitely right when he said "Success is good at any age but the sooner you have it the longer you enjoy it."

Remember if you where broke this year and you are expecting to be better in 2023 without taking action, you will be shocked. The good thing is a calendar determines when the year ends but it's only you who can decide when a new you begins.

Your life can't go according to plan if you have no plan. It's not a new year you need,it's a new plan you need. Remember don't plan your future with people who have no future plans.

Have you ever noticed how two people working for the same company, getting same salary can be living different lives? You will find that one will be doing better much than the other. Ever wondered why?

Well it's all about how you plan with the little you have and how you spend your time. Some people will plan to start a business but when salary comes they have all sorts of excuses in the world. Infact if excuses were convertible to cash, some people will be Billionaires.

It doesn't really take much to be in business and the same Business principles apply. It's not because you receive a small salary that you haven't started your business, it's because you have limited your thinking. It's true that if you can't manage the little you have, you will fail even when you are given more.

In this generation we have businesses that require little capital and allow you to grow. Businesses that not only pay you for your efforts but your team's efforts. How smart is that😃 If the government sets a minimum wage on you, set a minimum wealth on yourself. 👌

So many people want to win in life but they keep losing the battle because they are fighting the wrong enemy.

Bruce Lee once said learn to discipline your emotions, if you don't your enemies will use them against you. The real enemy lies within us. The real enemy is our fear, our doubt and our negative thoughts. The battleground is your mind and the enemy is our subconscious and negative thoughts.

Whatever you really believe, your subconscious will work at bringing you the tools you need to produce. It is very powerful yet also very vulnerable. Here are some facts about the subconscious and why you should be careful with what you tell it:

-Your subconscious is always on and recording everything you are hearing and saying. It even picks up messages that you are not consciously aware of. It never stops listening and recording.

-Your subconscious mind cannot comprehend the future. It only knows NOW. The present is the only tense that exists. That's why when we have goals, we should see them as already accomplished.

-Your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between your imagination and actual event. That is why you feel scared when you watch a scary movie. Your conscious mind might know it's not real but your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference. That's why you must always act like you are already what you would like to become.

-Repetition creates new beliefs in the subconscious mind. Say and think anything long enough and you will eventually start to believe, even if it's completely false at the time.

To win in life, you have to fight those negative thoughts and take full responsibility for your life. Stop blaming others for where you are today and take full ownership of your life. You cannot change what is outside you without changing what is within you.

This is what I like to call The "Rat Race"

It's amazing how people can spend three months saving money so that they can invest it but are not willing to spend even a 10th of that money to learn about how the investment before Investing. If you want to see how quickly you can lose money, invest in something you don't understand.

Just because an investment was good for a friend doesn't mean you should also invest without learning. Opportunities differ from place to place and also have different market life spans. That is why if you don't research you will find yourself joining an opportunity which is about to expire. Get the information, we are in the information age. Don't starve your generation because of ignorance.

You won’t be able achieve much in life “materially”

I have a saying that discipline is far more powerful than prayer and fasting.

Truth is ...

Most people that desire material success are crippled because they are trying to live a lifestyle which they haven’t developed the capacity for.

I see a lot of poor folks live their life like that of the rich.

When they have got nothing.

They are struggling to be a Lamborghini car when In reality they are bicycle.

Trying to impress other people.

That is the first step to remain poor forever.

Hear me and hear me clear.

The way humans make money and acquire material things changes in different generation.

But..

The principles of how money and materials things are acquired remains the same forever.

Example..:

If two people earns $10 each every day.

One of them save $5 to invest in the future...while he/she use the remaining $5 to take care of himself.

On the other hand ...the second person spend every penny from the $10.

Who do you think will be rich in 10 years from now?

According the principles of wealth creation.

Keep the answer to yourself.

While growing up ....me and my friend Steve were making more money than our age mates.

Yet .....we spent the money buying big trousers and shirts to look like the musical rapper 50 cent so that people can complement us.

At the end of the day we couldn’t save nor did we invest a dime.

We were the same with those that earned less.

In fact, some of them had more money than us ...even though we earned more than them.

Why ?

We lacked the discipline on how to handle money.

No one told us that money earned ought to be invested so that we can only spend from its profit.

Anyway...that our attitude towards money went on for years.

Making money was never issue because we’re skilled.

Some years back I bought “The Richest Man In Babylon “ by George S. Clason.

That book quickly made me realise that I have been eating the future which I dreamed off.

That was where I learnt my lesson about how material success is attained practically.

Ok.

Guys if have been wondering why so many people who earn so much money are not rich?

That is their problem.

The eat seeds that should have been planted for tomorrow harvest.

The point I’m trying to make is that you should minimize the way you spend.

Overcome Parkinson’s law through self discipline.

And watch yourself from now to 3 years

You would be amazed for how much you could save up to invested.

Stop comparing yourself to other people. You are wasting time. Comparison is a thief of joy. Focus on being better than you were yesterday and as long you keep improving yourself everyday the results will definitely come. You may not win immediately but you will win definitely.

Martin Luther king said " Every man must do two things; his own believing and his own dying". Believe in yourself and the world will one day be forced to believe in you. The grass may be greener on the other side of the fence but there's probably more of it to mow.

Many people would rather steal the first prize medal than earn it. Very few understand that winning is not just about getting the medal but the real price actually comes from the journey. It is the growth that comes from the journey that you should also Consider. What you become is more Important than what you get.

Many want the easy life and not a life lived consistently doing the right thing. Some are even willing to step on everyone as long as they reach the top. If you step on everyone's toes in your aim to reach top, don't be surprised when those same toes kick you up the backside for those who drag others down will eventually be dragged down.

Many want the prize without the persistence, the money without the morals and the easy life without ethics. Always do what is right no matter the situation you find yourself in because there is always something or someone watching. Your honor is always watching. Your pride is always watching, your dignity is always watching. Do the right thing.

Psychology marketing is one of the secrets to making sales. Learn to use it often.

If you want to build a really tall building, you have to dig a really deep foundation.

The reason you go through many challenges is because your calling is higher✌️

Do we need to re-emphasize why you should be committed to become a self learner? Definitely not, unless of course you want to have skills for a world that no longer exists. And you will slowly be becoming irrelevant.
